Read the instructions first before assembly and operation.
The order was delivered before the due date and came with many more extras than was on the description which was well received. The unit was not easy to put together, especially the chain and blade, but eventually was completed and works very well. It is essential to read the instructions, especially on safety. It is good value for money

Great Product.
Love it, love it, Love it!!! Really pleased with this, assembled easily (although I followed YouTube video to do so) and starts/runs brilliantly. Perfect for me!

Bu-Ko chainsaw
I didn’t want to pay a fortune for a chainsaw because I’m a DIY logger and my electric chainsaw isn’t much use if you’re out in the middle of a field, anyway,I read the reviews on this model and decided to buy, Initially I was drawn to this model because it has two bars,20”&16”, both easy to fit, and I will use both, it’s very sturdy, it spluttered with the second pull on the choke, ( choke in ) it started on the third pull. I’m very impressed with it, although I’m not using it 8hrs a day . The only reason I’ve given it 4* is this, the saw comes with a tool kit and PPE, all useable, but the mixing bottle is very poor . I bought a decent one for a £5. So all in all I can recommend this chainsaw, it’s a decent bit of kit for the price.

Whether you get a good or bad Chinese BU-KO 65cc chainsaw appears to depend on luck!
I've waited 3weeks before deciding to complete the review for the Chinese BU-KO 65cc chainsaw. Now used for 9 hours and would have been longer but gave up on some days because it was too difficult to start. Anyone familiar with chainsaws shouldn't find too much difficulty putting the saw together. After that it appears you rely on luck as to whether you have a 'good' saw or a 'bad' saw' As mine has problems I'm trying to be reasonable and saying its one of the bad ones. Just to highlight main difficulties, its hard to start and restart, constantly checking and clean oil port, handle requires constant tightening and two chains have already snapped. I just make a brief mention of the additions that come with saw, the gloves are actually plastic, the goggles are unbelievably flimsy and should not be relied on to protect you eyes, and the face shield similar in poor quality.

Great budget chainsaw
I bought this chainsaw primarily to cut a large stump left by others to a lower level (I dug all the earth around the stump first) and in the future for me to cut logs and timber so I can turn on a lathe. It was easy to assemble & fit the chainbar and chain. Once primed, it started and ran well, and was very easy to re-start. Safety brake works well, (kicked back only once and that was my fault!) Safety kit although basic is adequate for home gardening use. The mesh face guard will stop flying debris, I have prescription safety glasses provided by employer so didn’t need the goggles. The spare chains are a bonus as well. I thought I’d get through more than 1 chain on this stump but was pleased that 1 chain was suffice - there were a lot of vertical cuts on this job and it was just starting to blunt toward the end - there is a file provided to sharpen the chain. Had to tighten the chain 3or 4 times but that is to be expected and was easy to do - (loosen the chainbar locking nuts a bit, tighten the chain and then re-tighten the nuts). Neat carry bag (but only fits chainsaw with the 16” chain fitted). Toolkit has all the appropriate tools needed. All in all, a great budget chainsaw package with everything you need to get going (except fuel & oils). It’s not a chainsaw for professional arborists or tree fellers, but certainly good enough for use in the garden. Would I recommend - absolutely.

Great value, tricky to start (resolved), now faulty (resolved)
I was not expecting too much from a £100 chainsaw, but these days I do not need professional kit. It is not as powerful as I would have expected at 62cc but it is adequate and cuts well enough. I have only used the 16" bar so far. It floods very easily if you don't get the choke setting right and it is a shame that it doesn't have a lock-on half throttle position for warm starting as the recoil starting system doesn't let you hold the throttle and pull the cord. Of the "complete safety kit" Only the face mask could actually be called useful, and that is flimsy. Don't rely on any of it, buy proper chainsaw kit and decent ear defenders. All in all great value though. After using this saw for about 12 hours total, the starting issue has gone away as it has 'run in.' The bumper claw at the front has folded flat against the motor face though and the starter cord spring is defective, ie it doesn't re-wind the cord so I cannot start the saw. I was really enjoying using it up to that point and had planned to make a new claw out of decent steel. So it goes. I'll see what Burrowmount say. So Burrowmount were really very helpful. Gave me the option to return for repair or they would supply the parts necessary (which arrived with 2 days). The saw is now up and running again! Using about a tank of chain oil to a tank of fuel, which is about right. Half choke position will start a 'warm' engine. The first chain is showing no sign of losing its edge cutting clean, recently felled hardwood timber (any soil or grit will blunt it straight away).
