Super Excellent product!! Just remember that you have to be a very patient because of the flow itโs on the slower side however the results are spectacular at a very reasonable price!!

Works perfect! Exactly what I wanted to accomplish.
I've had a pressure washer hooked up in my garage for years. When I go to wash vehicles it's always ready, just hit the button and blast. And then when I got introduced to using a deionized rinse I saw life getting even easier by eliminating the most "work intensive" step...the drying! I wanted something just as simple but also effective, something I can get several uses from before having to recharge, not take up a lot of space and something that I could recharge using bulk resin because I hate the idea of buying throw away canisters and paying 4 or 5 times as much for the material which is already expensive. Also, I wanted it to be easy to see how my resin is holding up. This unit accomplishes all of that. I can recharge the existing canisters keeping costs down, one glance and I can see how resin is holding up and the whole thing mounts on the wall and takes up minimal space. And all that for under a hundred bucks (and about $25 in PVC)! So far I've washed my truck about 3 times and my car twice and used maybe 3/4" of resin. I don't know how my water rates for contaminates (I'm on town water) but I can say it looks like I'm going to at least get the entire season out of this before having to refill the canisters. And it does work just like they say, after washing and rinsing a vehicle I just give it one last rinse with the DI water and walk away. It actually dries more spotless than using a chammy which still can leave streaks. One cloudy day (about all we get here in upstate NY lately!) my truck sat in the garage and took over a day to finally dry, yet, not one single water spot! Update: It's been a year now and I can report, as I was hoping, the canisters did - albeit barely - last the entire season! My bag of resin came in last week, I'm about to refill them for this season. Looks like I'll get several refills (seasons) out of this $60 bag. For what I have invested this has been a most worthwhile acquisition, love the way this works!

It works as advertise as long as you are willing to deal with some (well documented) negatives
BEFORE BUYING, read the reviews and questions. Know what you are getting so you can level your expectation. I was a bit skeptical and was about to purchase a more expensive spotless system that cost 3 times as much, but figured i'll give this a shot anyways. It WORKS and the feeling of not having to quickly run to the sunny side of my car to dry before it leaves spots, is amazing. Before buying this, I read that 1) the water flow is slow so you need to get a specific hose nozzle and be willing to deal with a slow rinse 2) you DO NOT use this for the whole wash, only the final rinse, and 3) depending on how bad your water is, the resin can go by very fast. Because i expected these and were willing to deal with the outcome, i was very satisfied with the unit. I do not have the nice setups with shut off valves like some of these reviews as i wanted to test this before mounting. Only thing i use is a valve splitter to run a separate hose, and purchased one of the hose nozzles recommended from Aquaticlife (i watched their video on the product page). Water pressure is low but with the nozzle, it works. I have the unit hooked up to my home water softer so i already have pretty decent water, but it still leaves small calcium (i'm assuming its calcium) spots. After installing the unit, i left 1 panel to dry by itself. No spots at all. Also only a small amount of my resin changed color after 2 washes (SUV and sports car), but again, i'm already softening the water. I suspect if i hooked this up to the water spout on the side of my house, the resin would go way faster.

Donโt waste ur $
This is a scam product. You werenโt told that the water pressure delivers at half a pound. That rightโฆ .5 lbs of pressure. This isnโt enough water pressure to build enough pressure in a hose to squirt water more than a few feet. Water literally dribbles out of the hose. Itโs not fit for washing anything other than something small and waist high. Lastly I washed a full-size SUV and resin Was completely spent. Meaning the resin had turned light brown. It took so long to complete the washing and the rinsing of the SUV he completely spent the filters. I have no idea how Iโm supposed to give this a satisfactory review. It was a complete letdown and I would say that I got ripped off based on my expectations of how itโs marked it on the site. I did not return it because I used it. Bottom line buyer beware that this is a product that would probably be good for washing a single window, a childโs toys, or something small like a motorcycle. It is completely insufficient for standard duty and I canโt imagine trying to use it to wash a house is worth of windows. It just wouldnโt do the job

Excellent DIY Car Wash Filter
Donโt know why a bunch of people have issues with this kit. I have rigged it up to fit my need and this filter works amazing. No more water spots on vehicles. The filter or its attachments do not leak. Iโve gotten used to how much water to send through the filters now. I get about 3-4 washes per filter. Less if itโs a large vehicle. For a DIY setup, this thing works amazing.

Final Report
Had for a few months now and done more than a few car washes with it. It does a decent job of removing most of the impurities in my water, however, you CANNOT just rinse and go. It is necessary to do a final, quick towel dry with a microfiber rag to avoid any light spots at all. Knowing that, I am still satisfied with the product. More later when I find out the limit of the catalyst cartridges. I have used this product for a few more months. The good is that it helps make the final appearance better. And it probably can save a little, very little, time over the usual wash, rinse, dry steps. The bad: output pressure is weak; the included sprayer is unimpressive (and looks like it tries to overcome the weak pressure); the output water smells chemical, like rotten mushrooms to me; you still have to dry off water spots, though they don't leave as much of residue; however, the cartridges look as though they will last me several more months of washes, but I'm not sure of their pattern of degradation. Would I buy this product again? I am not inclined to so so at this point. At this price it was worth the effort. I want more pressure and less residual spotting.

Does exactly what it says it does
I think some of the bad reviews on here are just from people who donโt understand the science behind how these work. This is meant to take total dissolved solids out of water by using chemicals in this resin to bind to and then break these solids up. Itโs a chemical change and at a certain point (which the company even states is around 2000 TDS), yes, it will be depleted. The chemical runs out. Thatโs the limitation in how this resin works...itโs not really a function of how โgoodโ this companyโs product is. If you have water in the 200s which is ridiculously hard and youโre trying to process 30-40 gallons with this every time to do a car wash then Iโd assume it would go fast. Like another reviewer said, it would probably be best for people with really hard water to first use an RO system with a tank to remove TDS first and then use this as the final polisher to bring it to 0. Iโm fortunate to live in New York (where TDS is about 45) and so this works great. I donโt use it to wash my car but rather use it to fill a humidifier with demineralized water (too prevent scale ) and also for a fish tank to remove carbonates. It works great for both. Installation was easy, no leaks (if you remember to use the included plumbers tape) and has a high flow rate so that filling things donโt take forever. Measure the water every time and it always comes out 0 TDS every time. Straight from the tap. Iโm not even prefiltering it. Iโve been using it for a week and the resin is still ocean blue so I think this will work. Love it

Do not use with a pressure washer!
Update - Contacted Customer Service AquaticLife's customer service is excellent and very responsive. Dave explained the system is not for pressure washers and can cause issues like what I experienced. Moving forward I will be rerouting my system to a garden hose for final rinses. Original Review: Not sure what happened, but these have worked great the entire time I've had them in use (maybe 8 months). Out of nowhere today while I washing, the cannisters both exploded from the threaded area and fell to the ground, making a HUGE mess. Contacting customer service to see what they can do.

Works great
I use it and it works great, make sure to buy the filters regularly and you'll have a great filter system. I also use a prefilter (like an rv one) for extra filtering.

Fittings incorrect and leak
The bracket and filters are good, the inlet and outlet fittings do not seal. The hose is of very poor quality.

Dry less rinse
Washing the car. It definitely works. Rinsed the car, left it to dry, no water spots.

Amazing spot free rinse
Bought this for work as it seems our water suddenly has been leaving a lot of residue on our vehicles. Got this set it up and first time I used it I noticed an amazing difference! No more water stains any left over water marks are easily wiped away all in all a great purchase and Iโm very happy with it!

What an incredible piece of garbage!
The output fitting is cheap plastic and doesn't seal properly, I can't get it to stop leaking. It may well leave my cars spot free but it's going to take some McGivering to get it to work properly!
