Good product
Works perfect on my recliner. Foot rest wouldn’t stay down old spring had broke. This spring fixed the problem.

Sturdy and fit perfectly
Bought this for my son's recliner. The original had broken and the footrest wouldn't stay down as a result. First, I was amazed I could actually find the right part so easily; it even had the fuzzy pink piece inside like the original. Word to the wise, when I installed it, I found it was easier to attach it first to the bracket on the frame of the chair, then stretch it up to the hole on the footrest mechanism. I tried it the other way first and couldn't quite get it, so I reversed the process and it went in on the first try. I used a 90 degree pick to install it. I have also seen videos where people loop a piece of twine around the end of the spring that attaches second, and run the twine through the hole and pull the spring up to the hole that way. Anyway, the footrest stays down now so 5 stars.

A little expensive
A little expensive for a spring, but my only other option was to have a recliner that didn't stay closed. Fits perfect and has been going strong for a few weeks now. The only difference between this one and the one that originally came on the recliner was that the original had some kind of foam inside it so it didn't make a gong sound when we close it. This one makes the gong sound, but I don't mind.

Perfect replacement for the old one. Took minutes to install, once we figured out how. Took hours to figure out how. Youtube resources are vast: use them!

Exactly same spring as one that busted, even came with foam installed. Easy to installed, laid recliner on its side, used leatherman to pull and long end slide right in. Easy easy install.

Sturdy! Perfect replacement!
I got this to replace the sping that attachs from the ottoman frame to a piece of frame right below what is the seat of my recliner. Make sure you check your spring to ensure it looks exactly like this one, as far as how the hooks point direction-wise. Also double check the measurement. This spring is great! Nice and strong! Recommended!

Pas la bonne grandeur.
