I ordered one as a Christmas gift for someone and really liked it so bought one for myself. It's a handy little light with a very bright white light setting and 2 lower brightness settings, and blinking. The red lights are only bright enough to be indicators like a tail light and they also have blinking setting, but they are small. The strap is wide and soft with a buckle to adjust the size. The buttons are solidly built with a good click. The motion sensor works well and is useful when you aren't working close to other things as it does turn off/on when someone or something moves in front of you. I can't speak to battery life or charging time yet as I just got it.

This product works great! Stays on my head very securely, lights up my work area clearly. I like that it is rechargeable and the light is adjustable to my work angle. Button to turn light 'On and Off' is large enough for use with gloves. I use this light for just about everything I work on. Very handy and convenient. I should have bought one of these years ago!

In this case, this is one excellent product. I have used it several times when I am setting up camp at night and this little puppy lights up tremendoudly. I get to see all my parts on the floor and it is pretty wide. The brightness, oh the brighness, it is something else...I am able to go bike riding at night and this product works better than my actual bike front light. It charges fast through USB. It hold the charge solid for days until you need it the next time. My only complain is the little carry-on case, the zipper just busted but I keep it in a drawer.

Nice case it comes in for convenient carrying and storage. The bright light is really bright and works well for distance and close work. The motion switch is neat, but if you move your head too close to something, it tends to turn off without a hand command. Just getting used to it.

I play ball with my dogs several times a day in the backyard, and also at night. So I need my hands free from having to carry a flash light. I like that it’s rechargeable, but I’m very disappointed that the battery is going out only after 3 months. After a full charge the light is very very dim. I wonder if the device was faulty from beginning because the light would go off by itself intermittently while being used. I just kept turning it back on.

This is a nice headlamp, but the red LED is not bright enough. If you are looking for night-vision saving red, this headlamp only projects the red about 18" out. I found myself constantly having to take a closer look to get the red to illuminate the area I wanted to see while working in dark conditions. The white LED is very bright, has different levels of brightness which was nice. I don't use the blinking signal function. However, the hands-free sensor was one of the other reasons I bought this headlamp. It is a cool feature, but it turned out to be an annoyance. You use it by turning on the sensor function, then you can wave your hand near the headlamp in front of it to turn the white LED off or on. But when you get close to an object, such as a wall or whatever you are trying to look at, the sensor senses the presence and turns the light off, then maybe it comes back on when you move outwards. Then, when you are working with something and you bring it close to your face or move your hands anywhere out in front, the sensor turns the light off and on numerous times. It simply became unusable with that function, and coupled with the dim Red LED I decided to return it. Sorry it didn't work out.

This thing is really bright. Bought this specifically for work, because I occasionally work in low light conditions. What is nice is that when its time to recharge, I can plug it in and let it recharge, rather than fumbling with a catch and replacing batteries.I've used it a couple times to find my dogs out in the back yard (because one HAS to patrol the entire border before coming back in) and it lights up the whole area. Really don't have a need for the night vision, so I haven't tried that feature.

For all those years, I have owned a dozen of headlights from real cheap one to expensive ones. So far this one is my favorite. The most important feature is rechargeable, I don't have to deal with batteries. It's solid, bright, light weight, and good looking. Even though it has a motion sensor, but I don't use it much. It is a perfect headlight for fisherman like me.
