Lots of Light Using Very Little Power
I got these to light up the inside of my pickup canopy without using too much power like adding incandescent light would have. Knocked off a star because there's no instructions on how to daisy chain them together. To do that, you have to carefully strip off the gel coating on the non-wired end to expose the copper contacts, then carefully solder the wires from the next string.

BEWARE!!! PURE GARBAGE. DO NOT BUY!!!
To start off these light are pure garbage. The wires are so small they broke on me multiple times. There 24 gauge at best. Next the brightness is horrible. Barely any light output even in the dark. And finally the adhesive isn't sticky at all the paper backing is coming off on its own. A post-it note would stick better. I would give this negative stars if possible. Also the seller doesn't accept returns. Probably because they know their product is junk.

Good/Bad review
Blue LED strips. The good:Upon arrival, opened ziplock style baggie and removed 8 strips that were rolled up for shipping.Promply tested all 8 strips using a 9 volt battery. All 8 worked. All were decently bright with just 9vdc.Brightness obviously increased with proper voltage of vehicle these were being mounted in.The bad:Adhesive is standard run of the mill chinesium sticky stuff. In other words, it's not good adhesive. The protective paper barely stays stuck.Even scrubbing the clean, bare metal surface with acetone didn't allow the adhesive to stick in many spots. It's just simply not good stickum.Zip ties, contact cement, string, gaffers tape, etc... Would be advised depending on how you plan to mount these.Overall: 8/10. Would buy again depending on intended usage.

You get what you pay for...
For the price I paid I thought I was getting a great deal on some bright LED's, but I guess you get what you pay for. I wanted to use these in my engine bay as lighting, but after getting all the wiring hooked up and flipping the switch, they barely lit up anything. I was so disappointed. Will these light up something acceptably, yes probably but definitely not an engine bay. The adhesive on the back was very strong so you don't have to worry about them falling off anything, as long at the surface they're being applied to has been cleaned well before hand.

Not Super Brights!!! Beware
First of all these lights are NOT super bright. I’d say barely bright. And if i hadn’t already had them installed/wired into my boat I’d happily return them. The sticking adhesive on the back on the strips wouldn’t even stick, that should have been my first sign. Very disappointed!

Blue blue blue(not white)
Full disclosure here... I do have these hooked up to an old 18.5v 3.5a laptop charger but figured they would only draw what they needed and boy was I wrong. I installed these on 6/9/19 and within a week the color started to change and they get dimmer and dimmer every night that passes. I've taken a picture of them tonight 6/20/19 so I'm guessing they'll be completely dead in a week. Probably my fault and will be buying a 12v 2a plug like I should have done in the 1st place. They were very blueish at first though and I don't think over current would turn them more blue but they were definitely bluer than the few 6500k bulbs that i use around the house. Mine hooked up to my power source also run very hot which should have been my first clue. That's why I chose to figure out the kinks with a really cheap set. Not mad about it though since the knowledge I've gained about dyi lighting was worth the $9!!

12 Volt Rubbish
If you’re looking for an LED strip with a soft glow, unreliable adhesive, and ultra-thin 26ga wiring that occasionally comes free from its soldered points, then look no further! These are NOT “super bright” by any means. I tested each strip before installing them, and found they were quite dim. I was a little disappointed, but willing to live with it.Then came installation. I prepped my surfaces (raw aluminum & powder coated) with denatured alcohol & microfiber rag. Ambient temps were 80°F. I then carefully pressed in place, each strip. By the third strip, I noticed that the first strip was lifting. They stuck slightly better to the raw aluminum, but not much better. I attempted to salvage them by using 3M double-sided tape - the 3M tape stayed strong to the surfaces, but the fetching lights would still pull from the adhesive! Then the wiring. Oh that awful, peach-fuzz-thin, stranded wire that requires tweezers and a steady hand for soldering. Also, a couple of leads came undone from the solder points on the strips, as I was routing the leads.I knew $9.xx was a pretty low price, and sometimes you get lucky. This time, I was not so lucky. I would stay away from these.

Ok, but not great.
Surprisingly, they all worked. They aren't "super bright" by any means, more of a pleasant glow. I used them as interior lights in the cargo area of my Cherokee, but they are not bright enough to rely on to find specific items in a bag. Not disappointed, but I did expect them to be brighter. First thing I did was peel off the generic adhesive, and put on automotive strength 3m. There are literally three conductors in each wire. Soldering was a challenge, forget about using butt connectors, the wires are so thin, the connectors wouldn't be able to get a bite on them.
