Furhaven Cardboard Cat House Tower Playground, Multi-Level Cat Tree Hideout Scratcher with Catnip

My original review of the "farmhouse" scratcher: All of our cats are at least several years old, most are older. I have only had the farmhouse scratcher for 2 days but it's been occupied every moment of those 2 days. Usually they just go in, scratch a bit and then lounge and fall asleep. Some of the younger ones like to play in it though. I plan on getting the giant castle version sometime, that looks like it would be a huge hit here.It was very easy to put together, all of the pieces are numbered and the photos are easy to follow. (not sure why they ask for you to put a rating on "adhesion", nothing sticks together) Seems very durable. The corrugated pieces are removable so you can flip them over or replace them if they're ruined or puked onUPDATE 2/6/2023 - And a few weeks later I'm returning to add on with a review of the "castle" scratcher, the enormous one. Like i expected, our cats were so happy with the smaller scratcher, i returned not long after to get them an upgrade. And I count it among one of my top best ever cat product purchases. The only time this scratcher is not in use is when i kick them all out of the bedroom at night, because they make an ungodly amount of noise in this thing (not just scratching, but it tends to creak and such when they move on it and i'm a light sleeper). They're in love, I'm in love. It was worth the money. And they no longer have to fight over who gets to lay on the really cool scratcher with catnip on it. If your cats love corrugated scratchers and they love catnip (and if you like seeing your cats in various forts or funny boxes), you want this product.(if youre looking at the photo i took, I had to cut out the window frame of the top level so they could escape that way - otherwise they felt trapped if another cat was laying on the third level since there's not really an easy way for them to jump down there)

hard to put together...need two people. My cat only likes one spot on it lol and his favorite parts were the scratching pads, and it came with like ten of them so that was awesome. I keep them on the floor and he scratches them every day. I have it against a wall because he isn't very interested in playing in and out of it he just likes to sleep on the top. He only weighs about 8 pounds but if you had two cats or a heavier cat it might tip over if it was free-standing. The top floor did lose it's strength and I had to reinforce the tabs with tape. obviously, I took the easy way out and used scotch tape, which works because my boy isn't very big. But if you spent a little time folding the tabs down and reinforcing them with duct tape this thing would last a really long time. Its a cool-looking piece of kitty furniture and I think kittens would absolutely LOVE it. You can kind of customize it too which is neat. Is it worth $80? absolutely not, more like $50 since you will eventually have to reinforce it to make it last.

Put a cat bed on top for him to sleep. It was easy to assemble and it's heavy duty (supports cat's weight of 10lbs+ with no sagging). He does bite off pieces of the cardboard to get out his hunting frustrations, so you would have to potentially watch out for that. And although it makes a small mess, I'm ok with it as it is his toy and he doesn't eat the cardboard. Maybe he's smarter than I think and the cardboard acts as a toothbrush.

I had to find the right place to put it. In my office, wouldn't touch it. When I put it in the living room, after MUCH laser luring, she finally made it her own. The 3rd level is her favorite. Very private.Think I'll decorate it with construction paper. No paint or glue. But you could probably make it even cuter if you're feeling creative.

I got this 3 months ago and the only reason I haven’t gotten a new one yet is because even though I feel like it’s done, my cat still loves it! Both cats loved it and it gave the crazier cat something to take his craziness out on! It has held up surprisingly well. Would buy again

Got this for the cats after their other cardboard cat hut from October fell apart. I was pleased with how easy this was to assemble and it is very sturdy. The cardboard is very thick and I anticipate this lasting more than 6 months. I would buy one of these again.

I got this for my 1 yr old cat, she’s about 10 lbs. Her old cat house from Target in rough shape and needed to go.Assembly:At first, I tried to follow the paper instructions, but I quickly got confused - I couldn’t tell what angle the pieces were supposed to be connecting, BUT there’s a QR code on the instruction sheet that takes you directly to some video instructions, and it made everything SO simple and easy to follow along.It’s only been a few days, but it seems sturdy and my cat likes it.Con:I was a little disappointed that as I was popping out the excess cardboard off (the “doorways” and “windows”) of the walls, that the walls were getting dented in the process - not every time, but it happened at least 3 times. Obviously, I want this to last as long as possible.Not that it’s put together, it SEEMS sturdy, but time will be the true test.Pros:It’s very cute set up! I like that it came with little toys as well - the spring mouse, a cardboard ball, cardboard fish, and bird.For the size, I’d say the price is very reasonable.

It's sturdy enough for our 3 fat cats and easy to assemble but....if you have more than one cat, look out for fights. We have 3 cats and no matter who is in the lower level, they're getting smacked by whoever is above.

A mi gata le encanta la casita. La asamblé en menos de 15 minutos. Solo que el producto me llegó un poco dañado en las orillas de la cartulina (por eso le quité una estrella), pero no se ve tan mal. La entrega fue muy rápida y, en general, fue una compra muy satisfecha.

Es lindo y resistente, tengo dos Gatos uno talla grande y otro mediano lo disfrutan más que las dos Torres que tienen y la hamacas.Fácil de armar.
