The olive is one tree you may see planted around the Spanish missions in California. Medium sized deep purple fruit. Late ripening. Good for table olives and oil. A cold hardy variety; vigorous. Bears heavily. Give the trees full sun. Hardy to around 15°s, so have some protection ready if you live in an extreme winter area. Train and clip the tree to desired height and shape. Considered drought resistant once established. While indoors supliment humidity by spritzing the foilage with moisture. Feed as needed. Shipped as a potted 5 gallon tree in its original soil and container. Olives are invaluable as tough landscape specimens, often used in containers in Mediterranean style landscapes

A great little tree
We were pleasantly surprised by this little tree. So well packaged and shipped. Naturally it will take years before it grows up, but considering the quality of the plant we have good hopes it will survive. We also appreciated the thorough care instructions.

Healthy Tree
I had received the tree well within time of the targeted delivery date. When I opened the package, the tree was very well packaged. The dirt was held into the pot with a pice of cardboard which definitely kept the dirt from flying all around even when i had to put the tree on its side. Overall I am happy with my tree so far and really cant wait until next fall for it to start bearing fruit.

This olive tree came well packaged, and in great shape when it arrived! It is a nice plant and a good size. It has been happy so far inside. I am so happy with this purchase. Excellent deal!

Better Than Expected
This product arrived looking much better than the photo. Though it shows no sign of fruit yet it appears very healthy and has much new growth.
