There is a tag inside the bag that says if there is an odor or wrinkles to wash the blanket on cold, and then tumble dry low. I followed this instruction but was worried about ANY heat on it, so - tumble dried on EXTRA LOW (no heat). That didn't work - even no heat tumble dry, my blanket is ruined. All of the fibers shrunk down and it is now hard and matted up. Sad and a total loss of $80 :( It's pretty out of the package but best to deal with the smell and wrinkles instead of ruin your blanket before you can even use it. Buyer Beware

This is not Kanekalon fiber as advertised but rather 82 acrylic and the rest polyester (and on the inner tag, it actually says 80% poly and the rest acrylic! Make up your minds!). It is not as sumptuous and thick like the photo, but rather a little thin and skimpy. With that said, it is nicer than a $40 blanket from Pinzon that I also ordered, and my daughters are sorry, but I'm returning out of great annoyance and feeling deceived, not sure it's worth the $100 price tag. :-(

These blankets are lovely! I have been wanting a faux fur throw for awhile but most that actually resemble the touch and feel of real fur are very expensive. This blanket is very reasonably priced and looks to be made with high quality and it really does look like fur! and it has a convincing feel. It has held up nicely since I have had it, for about two months, no stitching coming lose or hairs falling out. I bought these for looks mostly but was also pleased to find that they are wonderfully soft and very warm. They have a comforting weight to them almost like you have a big furry friend in bed with you. I am very happy with my purchase!

This throw is the Grey Bear. The color is really nice-similar to real grey bear. It is much more substantial-heavier weight than previous luxury throws from other companies. Very soft-yet durable-well made. The fur hair fibers are longer but non-shedding. The fibers do not appear faux-where as most do, they have done a great job at preventing un-necessary "shine" so it is actually a whole new level of "Lux".When my husband sees this-he will definitely mark it as his territory, so now I will have to buy another one. The cats love it too, can't seem to get them off of it.You will not be disappointed-unless you expect something light and airy.Definitely worth the money.

Nicely done blanket for the couch. I bought this to use as in fur cape project, but I think my S.O. would kill me if I took this away from our cuddle couch. The “Fur” looks and feels real. I have a few other real pelts too, and seriously it is difficult or impossible for me to feel a difference between long combed wool and this blanket. The color scheme I got is Wolf/Brown, and yes, it matches the real deal very closely. Maybe being a bit more like a Midwest coyote color, but I knew that going in.The backside is a soft velvety fabric, with small squares, kinda like waffle knit.

I ordered the WHITE BEAR faux fur throw. The photos show only a solid ivory color. What I received was an ivory faux fur throw with a solid bright red reversible lining! There are not photos of this, nor any mention of it in the description that I could see. The ivory itself is a beautiful color, yet the bright red is a shocking contrast and ruins it in my opinion. If the manufacturer could have coordinated the liner with the actual color of the throw, it would be perfect. Because of the inaccuracy in providing this information in the description and the photos, I left a one star rating.

I was so excited for this blanket! In the picture it looks plush and thick, it came and it is a lot thinner then the picture, smells strange and I am thinking about returning it. So sad

We priced several in person and on line and clearly our search was over when we ordered this. The quality is outstanding, the nap is smooth and soft. The backing is just as nice and the size is large enough that two people can snuggle under it or one person can be fully wrapped in it. We pull this out when guests visit for an evening around the fire pit. It always gets a lot of complements.
