Beautifully done, well organized, informative for a start. More than just a tour book, the insights to the history and culture with beautiful photos of the region create a story. I highly recommend the book.

My first Vinologue purchase and won me over immediately. This overlooked wine region might merit a mention here or there but this vinologue introduces the reader with history and context and then goes in-depth to the region's wine country. It was an easy to follow guide with detailed contact information that helped navigate reservations and visits. We simply could not have tasted in this region without the guide. It is the definitive guide in the Emporada region.

A very comprehensive book. This is my third book by the author and I consider them all to be a must read for wine lovers. So much detailed information on the wines, the wineries plus clear instructions on how to get to each winery for visits and tastings. Reading the book makes you want to jump in the car and drive straight to the region and start tasting. A joy to read and learn at the same time.My only comment I wish the index contained the individual wines as well as the wineries.

Fantastically comprehensive review of Emporda's wine producers (which grapes are grown, total production, how to get there, price etc), with very useful asides on other aspects of the culture and history of the region. However, the tasting notes I found a little confusing sometimes, since they used very differently terminology to those you find in the UK.
