good for visual research
This is a good book for research and study for anyone interested in forged steel. It is not a long book, just 46 pages with a good range of black and white photographs dipslaying the art and style of this period. The Art Decco designs are deceptively simple, with lyrical curves, lines and delicate intricacies the are used sparingly, but with some flourish. Useful ideas for wrought iron work. Some photographs of fine details would have been helpful along with some textual narrative.
