I have pets, and I don't know what I would do without these
They're sticky, and they're great at removing cat and dog hair from clothing. They don't always tear well on the perforation, and the sheet that you're using will sometimes pull off the roll when you're not expecting it (the noise of it pulling off the roll is fine when you're doing it on purpose, but if the sheet decides to come off on its own, the loud noise can scare the heck out of you if you're using it in a quiet house. Just sayin'). But they're the best lint/fur remover on the market and work quite well.

Leave the lint behind
Yes, I use it on clothing, furniture and curtains with excellent results. I bought it to remove cat fur from my bed. My cat loves to lay on my clean bedding. These are ideal for removing all lint, hair and anything else from my bed.

Be careful taking the inner tube out...
This has happened to me before and I have to remind myself to be careful when removing the inner cardboard tube prior to using. The lint paper has gotten stuck to the cardboard tube and it becomes difficult to fix as shown in the picture. I end up wasting quite a bit of lint paper, also now the refill it too 'big' to sit on the handle properly as it's missing lint paper on the inside of the roll. Otherwise it is great at picking up pet hair etc

Former problem Fixed!!!
3M lint rollers are the best. Old Problem: Difficulty is that when removing White cardboard packaging from inside the roller, you usually pull off some plastic sheets from the inside, leaving a tangled mess.SOLUTION: rollers now come with a gray solid plastic insert which solves the trouble. (Shouldn't have taken them this long to find a fix, but better late than never)

No longer paper and much less effective
3M has changed their lint roller material. Back when it was paper, it was vastly superior to every other brand. Now it’s this thin plasticky stuff and it’s practically useless. A fresh sheet fails to pick up much lint, and its stickiness runs out in about 1/4 of the time the old paper ones did. I run a clothing business out of my home and I have two cats, so I go through a LOT of lint roller sheets on many different fabrics. Since this change, I sometimes have to resort to using strips of packing tape to remove lint because these just… don’t. They also are way harder to manage than the old paper sheets, as they are way more eager to stick to each other than to stick to lint — so they rip easily when you try to pull off a used sheet.I previously swore off off-brand lint rollers, but honestly, those were better than these crummy plastic ones that 3M has switched to. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but I can’t wait to be done with this box of refills and never use these again.

works as advertised
Great tool. Unfortunately only rolls one way. Roll counter clockwise and paper unravels.
