It works!
Ordered this to replace the one that came with my surface when I bought it about 2 years ago. This charger goes well, it keeps my surface charged, and a few bonus things: -the cord material seems a little more sturdy (thicker rubber)than the Microsoft one which hopefully means it won't kink(which I think is what happened to my other one) -the cord is much longer (having extra length is a good thing) -came in a nice pouch, which I didn't think at first was all that, but now that I have been using it I wonder why I didn't have a bag for the cord before. Anyway, great purchase, so far no complaints and I would recommend/buy again.

Great item and great customer service.
The charger itself is sturdy and has a very nice smooth feel to it. It resemble the original Microsoft charger very closely, and it's actually longer than the cable that comes with the surface pro 4! Loved the charger and the company 's customer service. I ordered one a few months ago and it stopped working. The company contacted me after I posted a review describing the situation and offered to send a replacement or give a refund. The fact that they were willing to replace the item (or refund my money)speaks volumes about their customer service and commitment to quality. Definitely worth your money!

Works great with my surface pro 4
When I realized that I had left my surface pro 4 power supply at the hotel , I had a choice of ordering this power supply or running to the Microsoft store at the mall. Whatbsealed the deal was the terrible reviews the OEM supply received. I've been using it for almost a week and I 've had no issues charging while using the surface pro. The cord is nice and long and made with high quality materials. It also comes with a velour carry pouch that looks like a makeup bag but still a nice added touch.

Unusable
When my Surface Pro 4 is connected to this charger, the mouse cursor via the keyboard cover trackpad behaves very strangely. It jumps about and is basically unusable. If I use a separate Bluetooth mouse it works fine. I only have this problem when plugged into this charger.Pretty disappointing.

What can one say about a power cord? It works. This one has an additional USB port just like the original one had that came with the machine, so that's good. But what stands out about this cord is the nice little case that came with it. Padded, zippered, and with two interior pockets, one with a zipper. Very convenient for travel. And an excellent price. Definitely 5-star value.

It is the product that I needed for my ancient Surface pro and appears perfectly adequate for purpose since the one supplied with the Surface originally developed a fault. A fault which, with better design, could have been avoided. Alas more recent Surface chargers I see still have the same inherent problem - something that Microsoft actually warns about......!

Surface pro charger-good value
I recently ordered a couple of these to replace some broken ones. They work well and I really like the longer 6ft cord that come with them. If you travel, you will like the carry case they include. It is a bit early to tell how durable they will be but I will edit my review later with those details. These appear to be a great value.

Longer cable, better quality, has the charging LED, much cheaper.
