This call is one of the best calls I've ever used 10+ years. If you practice a little and learn the finesse is all in how much pressure you apply with your finger. Its 90% finger pressure and release timing 10% mouth. I can't count how many bulls I've called in using this call. You can make small quiet mews all the way to long in heat whiney mews. The long drawn out in heat call separate's it away from any diaphragm call. Most elk hunters sit down and blow the crap out of a Hocchie mama and this call can make very unique and realistic sounds making it a very effective call.

Good call and easy to use. Very close to the the authentic sounds of an open reed bite lip call. The good thing is that it requires less practice and you don’t have to be as precise!

I saw the only other review on this item was bad so I thought I’d leave one. For the price this item is great. It really is easy to use if you know what sounds you need. I have called in a number of elk over a few years with this call.

My go to cow call. Do not like the mouth reeds, I can use em but just dont care for em. This is a good cow call to have in your pocket or on a lanyard for quick and easy use. Have stopped many cows and bulls with this call, gets the job done.
