Candelabra LED Bulbs 2700K 40w Equivalent Improve Flame tip Frosted Glass E12 Base Warm White Decoration E12 LED Bulb Dimmable 6 Pack

I've been wanting to switch to LEDs for my candelabra based specialty bulbs but they have been foolishly expensive and many are unattractive, with plastic above the base that ruins the look. I'm giving these a chance because they are all glass and reasonably priced, about 2 1/2's more expensive than incandescents. We'll see about the longevity. LED bulbs in general are a work in progress, with their success pending their longevity. Saving the planet is great, but so far saving the planet mostly means going to the poorhouse.These bulbs in particular are bright with the proper color as ordered, the "warm" cast I prefer on indoor bulbs that corresponds to about 2700 Kelvin.I had an excellent experience with this retailer. One of the bulbs was defective and they replaced it with an entire new set of 6, above and beyond what you would expect. I would certainly purchase from them again!

I was initially skeptical about the bulbs. I purchased them based on the Amazon ratings. Overall, they worked very well. One concern that I had was how it would handle being dimmed using the low cost dimmers that I had on 2 chandeliers. But I had no problems with them. There is no flickering and the dimming was very even. In actuality - these bulbs dimmed better than incandescent bulbs. When I compared the color during dimming - the color of these LED bulbs would keep the color even while the incandescent bulbs would get much warmer and more orange in color.The frosting on the bulb is well done and at eye level - the bulb doesn't produce a harsh glare like other bulbs.One small issue is that the base seems a bit bigger and didn't fit as well. Also - if you look at the picture - the base protrudes slightly so the metal base is visible past most standard candle covers. You may need to raise or get taller candle covers if that bothers you.I plan to order another set of the bulbs.

Purchased these for my outdoor wall lights. Loved my sconces but generally hate the look of lightbulbs, especially when looking directly at the filament. Was very happy to find these that have a slightly opaque and diffused look. Love that they are warm LEDs. Couldn’t be happier.

I wanted LED bulbs to replace my incandescent candelabra bulbs, and these are dimmable, which I also need. At peak brightness, the bulb is a little more yellow than the old bulbs. Interestingly, as you dim the bulbs they are more white than the incandescent. For some reason, every once in a while, they also seem to flicker. Never saw that with the old bulbs. But it's not so bad of an issue to replace them. I would still recommend these if you're looking for LED candelabra bulbs.

The media could not be loaded. Metal collar does show above socket, but did not seem to detract from appearance. 40 watt equivalent used in fixture with w5 watt limit. Dimming worked great. I do have a dimmer switch designed for led bulbs,

On the positive side, the bulbs were dimmable as advertised and did not generate excessive heat like the incandescent bulbs they replaced. I did replace the previous dimmer switch with an LED compatible one. I bought the 6-pack of bulbs in March 2021 for a 5-bulb chandelier over the dining room table. They did not get used very often save for occasional meals with visiting family. We just went to clean the sconces for our 2022 Christmas Eve gathering in a few days and found two of the 5 bulbs are dead. There is only one extra bulb from the 6-pack, so I must purchase additional bulbs. Will not be buying this brand again.

This looked nice but unfortunately it was incompatible with our dimmer and so it flickered when dimmed, the dimmer we installed is a Zoos Zen74 smart dimmer (TRIAC type dimmer). The product is not necessarily defective and may work great on another type of dimmer. I just wanted to put that out there in case you are like me were looking for a LED light that works with your system.

I haven't had these long enough to gauge longevity, but so far they aren't too bright (maybe a wee bit), are comparable to regular bulbs in color, and because they're frosted, the funny orange LED components inside the bulb don't stand out as much. If I could correct one thing - there's a tall silver base below the bulb which protrudes from the socket, making it look different.
