this shovel is heavy, strong, and easy to assemble. Just what I had in mind. Looks like it will hold up well to clear my deck and ramp.

Very Well Built
I bought this as it was advertised as sturdy, and I am satisfied with it in that regard. The shovel was easy to assemble, and the build quality is definitely a notch above the typical snow shovels you see in the store. And it does shovel snow extremely well. Made in the USA is a huge plus. I did dock a star, as my shovel came without nuts, and I had to swing by the store to grab some.

edge gets easily dented without even using it to shovel
the blade edge is chipped and dented. The shovel was shipped not in a box, but only wrapped with black plastic bag.

Great shovel. Speeds up snow removal, makes lesser shovels feel like a toy
This shovel is much larger than the one I had previously used, now the old one feels like a toy. Despite the large size the shovel is not heavy. Because of the large width I can clear my driveway faster than I could before. Assembly was easy, with one caveat. The handle was a bit loose in the shovel head. I did a two-layer thick wrap of electrical tape on the shaft above, below, and between the screw holes. With the tape the handle took some effort to insert but once in, with the screws added, that thing is not going anywhere. I have used this shovel for a few seasons now and if this one ever breaks I will not hesitate to buy the same one again.
