I've had this blanket for about two weeks now and can honestly say I love it. I spent a lot of time researching all the options and varieties of weighted blankets on the market and am very happy with my decision to purchase this one. First, the covering is so fabulously soft and comfortable. It is also removable which is a definite plus so that I can machine wash it. Secondly, I am pleased it has glass beads and the weight stays evenly distributed. I have no problems with it shifting too much and it doesn't make any noise. Third, and most importantly, I get the best nights sleep I've ever had. It makes me feel all snug and secure and it helps me to sleep on my back which is something I've never been able to do. I actually look forward to going to bed so I can crawl under it and I fall asleep way quicker than I used to. I was nervous to make this purchase but am so happy with my choice. I am planning on buying my mom one for her birthday since she doesn't sleep well and now based on my experience I'm sure it will help her. I weigh 125 pounds and I bought the full size, 12 pound blanket in the light grey which is a very pretty grey color. The weight is ideal for me. Not too heavy and not too light. I was afraid it would be too light but I believe it's perfect - I can still roll onto side if I want to and I don't feel weighted down - just nice and secure and comfy. I highly recommend.

First off I want to mention that customer service is excellent. I originally bought the 20lbs but it was too heavy for me. I switched to the 12lbs and love it. I haven't had immediate dramatic results or feelings like other reviewers have described, but that's ok. I wonder if and hope that over time I might see more of the benefits. (I've only had it for a week). So far it just feels nice and snug to sleep under. The quality of the blanket is better than I expected. The stitching is sturdy, the fabric is thick, the weight is well distributed, the cover is very soft. I will mention, it's a hot blanket. Lots of people say it "breathes" but in my opinion, it only breathes in comparison to a plastic tarp, not a regular blanket. This makes sense to me though, after all it is two layers of thick, strong fabric holding glass beads and filling. I personally won't be using this in the summer (I don't run my AC at night, if you do than it might be ok year-round). I'm very, very pleased that I chose this blanket and this company. Update 4/14/19: I've used my Quility weighted blanket for almost 6 months and I looooooove it. The cover is so soft, and it's soothing to touch. The extra weight on my legs stops my restless legs moving. I like staying warm and snug, I sleep deeper and better. Even my 11lb dog manages to get under it, she likes it too. The quality is great, excellent strong stitching etc. This has been one of my best and favorite purchases. I recommend it to anyone.

I looked carefully for a weighted blanket, looked at many, read the reviews and decided after exhaustive research to purchase this blanket. I have tried white noise machines, nature sounds, herbs, melatonin, meditation, all the typical solutions. I weigh 122 lbs. and deliberated between the 12 lb. and 15 lb. option. I have a queen bed and decided to get the twin size to cover just my half of the sleeping area. My 2 dogs do not need to share it. Bought the 12 lb. blanket and very happy I did. I had planned on taking it up and down stairs. I was surprised at how heavy 12 lbs actually is. Very heavy for me who is 76, but in great shape. I was concerned that it would be to hot in the summer. I have AC and did not find that an issue. I must say that I am sleeping longer and deeper than in the past. I do enjoy that comforting weight. The beads are well distributed and do not shift a lot as some customers complained about other blankets. I have not washed the duvet yet, so I do not know how it will hold up. Since I do not plan on sleeping without the cover, I am not planning on washing the blanket. Although instructions say it can be washed, I cannot imagine what the weight of the blanket and water would do to my washing machine. I waited a few months before this review to decide the verdict. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I can see why people like these blankets and, if I were not a hot sleeper, I would have kept it. I suspect the blanket is one of the best on the market, from my research. In person, the weight was equally distributed, and it was SO SOFT and snuggly. It did give me a sense of calm, too, although I did not fall asleep any faster than usual. I thought I liked it...until I fell asleep, only to wake up BURNING HOT. It reminded me of how I used to get when I slept on a memory foam mattress, where it would literally feel like a heating pad for minutes after I left bed. I'd have to walk around for a few minutes just to let it cool off. This is like that. Certain materials seem to suck heat out of my body and retain it; and, unfortunately, this is one of those materials. Otherwise, it is a great blanket.

I am a 5'3" 115lb 25 year old female. I struggle with sleeping, anxiety, depression. I wanted to try a weighted blanket for my problems but wasn't sure if it would work for me as I also tend to feel claustrophobic from time to time. I figured I would mostly use it as a throw blanket on a couch, and not to sleep with as I didn't think I'd like it. Turns out I love sleeping with this blanket and now I almost always sleep throughout the whole night (I would previously wake up in the middle of night and not fall back asleep) and if I do wake up, I notice I fall back asleep very quickly. I would definitely purchase this item again. Even my husband who hates blankets, tends to steal it sometimes! The quality of the blanket is very good and I have had no problems with it. The cover is great and I would definitely recommend the cover, as it is machine washable where I think the weighted blanket itself is just spot clean only. The cover is very soft/fuzzy and stays secure to the weighted blanket. One side is raised circles and the other side is flat. The coloring is perfect and goes with a lot. The only thing to be aware of is that the blanket gets hot! I think it may just be the fuzzy cover, but have not tried the blanket without the cover on. They sell another fabric cover that I would like to purchase in future for the summer time. The cover I purchased will be great in the colder months though. The beading does not seem to move around at all and the weight stays distributed evenly throughout. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and if you are on the fence, just try it. I am so glad I did.

I love this weighted blanket. It is the perfect weight (I got a 12lb 48x72 and I’m just over 120 lbs), is very soft and I love that it came with a washable minky cover. I’ve used this blanket on my couch and it’s like a cozy, warm hug! I tried using it on my bed at night but I got a bit warm. I haven’t given up on that yet as I love the secure feeling of the weight. The only reason I didn’t give this a perfect score is the color is a bit different than described. I ordered the light/dark grey and the dark grey side is more of a dusty bluish color. I contacted amazon for a replacement because I thought the wrong color was sent, but the exact same blanket came again so I’ll send one back. As always amazon goes above and beyond to correct any errors!

I do not have any anxiety issues but have heard how much people like these weighted blankets, so I ordered one following the weight chart. I love it and it looks very attractive with or without the included duvet. Other blankets without the duvet are much more expensive when you have to purchase a separate duvet. The duvet instructions are excellent and the duvet stays so perfectly in place that it looks as if it is the blanket. I would purchase one again in another color. Update on 6/26/2019: After having the blanket for over 3 months, I am loving it more than originally. I even enjoy it in the warm weather and one day after a long difficult hike, I am convinced that the blanket helped me sleep and soothe my aching muscles.

I was looking for ways to improve sleep and weighted blankets were suggested. I had a hard time finding one that looked like it would suit my needs. This one came the closest. The quality is good, but color selection was not satisfactory and washing is a pain. You can only wash the outward cover but it must be hung to dry. Due to its weight, it is no easy feat to reassemble. I only weigh 86lb so I got the 12lb blanket marketed toward kids. I still found it to be very heavy to maneuver and sleep under. In addition, it's too hot to sleep under in warmer months and I got palpitations while trying to sleep under it so I had to take it off. I thought I would return it because I don't know if this is a good fit for me, but upon trying to do that I discovered they were deducting over $10 for shipping fees even for Prime members. Very disappointed.
