I got these to replace my other yarn scissors, they stopped being able to cut through yarn at all. These are sharp, cut the yarn on the first snip and so cute! I saw a few other crocheters with these and had to get them! They seem like great quality for the price.

To be honest, I just bought these because of the cool skull design. I will probably incorporate this into a tailor themed outfit for our local Renaissance Festival.

i've literally ordered these three times! my first pair broke (absolutely my fault) and I lost my second pair. I'm totally obsessed with these and continue to re-order!! I'm an anatomy student and my office decor shows with skulls, bones, anatomical heart vase, brain shaped candles... etc) and these scissors blend in effortlessly!! My living room accent colors are also baby blue and gold... So they're perfection for me! They are super durable and versatile and can open anything from thick cardboard packages, to food containers, to delicate things like tissue/wrapping paper. They're comfortable to use and have some weight to them that makes them feel like they're good quality. And they're super unique...I just love these skull scissors!!!

These are better than I expected. Got them to make sure the one teen still left and the hubs won't try to use my, now dedicated, paper scissors on tape or anything crazy. They are in what I call my play room where I create very many different kinds of media and Goodell with my skull collection area.

Wish they were a little bigger. They feel like kids scissors cause of the size but cut well. Very sharp and sturdy. Also, I’m left handed and I can use them fine.

As my title says, these are excellent little general purpose scissors. They are made of cast steel which is then coated or plated in brass. I have had these for a few months now and the brass has not started to chip.These are reasonably short, being about 5 inches long/ 14 centimeters. The scissor feels firm in the hand but not cumbersome. The finger holes have a nice squarish shape that I prefer because it lends itself well to left handed or right handed use. The blades came sharp and well aligned and seperate with a flat head screwdriver if you ever need to sharpen them.I rated them as 5 stars for what they are. These are GENERAL PURPOSE and as such are best suited to paper, card board, stationary or something a little thicker. They are usable as fabric or embroidery scissors but I would not recommend them for that purpose as, although the blade is sharp it is not as sharp or precise as fabric scissors.These are small, well built and durable. Mine live in my work bag.
