The frog itself looks good. The rain gauge is a joke, not accurate at all due to the slight bell at the top of the gauge.The gauge is also graduated in 1/8th inch increments. Rain is usually measured in 10ths of an inch. Made in China, so they most likely don't know any better. To get an accurate reading from the gauge, just take the amount indicated then divide by 1.5. For example, if your gauge shows 1 inch divide that by 1.5 for a result of .67 (67 hundreds of an inch) which will then be accurate (I verified this using my professional rain gauge). It would have got five stars if the gauge was accurate.

I gave this as a gift to my mother who lives in NC. She loves the way it looks, but unfortunately the glass rain gauge has already broken. I don't see a replacement glass tube available, so I'm not sure what she is supposed to do, since without the glass tube, it's no longer a rain gauge, it's just a frog.

I absolutely love this froggie rain gauge! Even bought one for my dad, and he loves it too. It lights up at night and looks well in the garden. I highly suggest this product!

This is very flimsy and did not last a week. The bowl that holds the glass gage is not strong enough to hold it and it fell over with first strong wind and glass was broken. The bowl was hanging and bent to the stake that held it. Not a great expense but maddening.

This frog is so cute every time I walk by it makes me smile.

We are sending it back to Amazon. Description says it is 44 inches in height, but the one we got straight out of the box was 32 inches tall. 12 inches short of the height it was supposed to be.
