How can the sleeve length be correct? I'm a medium, always have been and my sleeve length is 32". Are we measuring differently now?

I am an xx large and the sleeve length was good for me but the the coat as a whole is a little tight fitting for me.

I'm purchasing this jacket for my 14 year old daughter. She is 5'5 and weighs 130 pounds (athletic build). Should I buy a small or medium?

I am 5" 8" and 150 lbs-will a medium fit me or should I go large?

I'm not really sure. I'm 5'11" and go 195, a large was too small for me and I returned the jacket and didn't buy the larger size. My guess is to try the medium. The 40 lb. difference in our weights is quite significant. Over all, it's a nice jacket. Hope this helps.
