Very sticky but works well!
I recently bought a new house and decided it was time to adopt 2 kittens. New house means new furniture and new furniture does not go well with new kittens. Their claws were so long and snagging on everything and they hadn't quite discovered the scratch post. I put this tape all over the front and sides of the couch. It is really sticky! So sticky that my ankles and legs sometimes got stuck when I stood up. If you have dogs, it will collect their fur so you may have to change the tape out more frequently. The kittens have grown a bit so I was able to take it off the bottom part of the couch where they used to play. It was a little hard to peel and took a lot of lint with it but did not leave any sort of mark, thank goodness. I still have it on the corners but they don't hardly try to scratch it anymore and love their scratch post. I will probably leave it on to train them a little longer but I don't think I will have to tape the couch permanently. There is plenty left on the roll if I ever need to add more. Great quality product that served it's purpose.

No more shredded corners.
I love my indoor cats, but they can be destructive. I have used this tape on my dining table legs, as well as corners of the sofa and chairs. It works! No more using those areas for their scratching posts. The tape is not obvious to the eye so the area still look nice, but are protected from claws.

Hard to rate it?
The product description and pictures are 100% accurate but cats are so strange. My one cat has been ripping up and chewing on carpet (caused an expensive surgery a few months ago) while the other claws at the couch. The couch problem worked like a charm, plus an added scratching post nearby so that little fella has somewhere else to go. 5 stars there. As far as Bernie the carpet eating moron? Well now he's Bernie the carpet and tape eating moron. He ripped the tape up off the carpet and started chewing on it first encounter with it. Not the expected impact. Went with the more expensive option of getting those plastic matts that go on office floors for chairs with wheels and it worked better. Definitely feel like the product is exactly as described and can work with a lot if cats for sure, but I guess mine just isn't normal. Hate giving the 4 star instead of a 5, but everyone has a different experience. Different strokes for different folks!

This tape is saving my furniture
This stuff is great. I have two cats, and both prefer my furniture over the various cat scratch stations that I have strategically placed throughout the house. So far this tape has saved my kitchen cupboards from further damage, my gaming chair from further damage, and my stairway railing from further damage. Also, my cats aren't allowed on food surfaces, but recently my older one decided to change the rules, so I put about 8 consecutive rows of this tape on the top of the kitchen counter on the side that he likes to jump up on. He hasn't jumped up on the counter since then, and it's been a little over a week. I don't prepare food right there on the far corner of the counter, so it all works out. It doesn't last forever of course. The stickiness is good enough to deter my cats, but over time it is going to become less sticky, and they'll test it, so you just have to swap it out once in a while.

Not practical
I used it on our breakfast table to help keep the cat off of it. It works but you'll have to cover the entire table as a smart cat will just jump to a spot that isn't covered. Of course that wouldn't work because we have to use the table for ourselves. After all that's why we originally bought the table. Not to have our arms stuck to it while we eat because of the tape. I'm glad that I only tested it in a few spaces because it ruined the finish while trying to remove it. Fortunately it is one of our oldest tables and not of great value to us. But this has made me leery of applying it to our couches. It was also placed on one of our free standing mirrors that is covered in bubble wrap. Our cat would come into the room and decide that the bubble wrap would make a great scratching post. After it's application the cat clearly doesn't like the way it feels. Of course I'm not concerned of damaging the bubble wrap when I am ready to use the mirror but I wasn't intending on using the tape on my furniture for life. Our cat would jump on to the top of our short linen closet at the top of the stairs and knock over our framed photos so that he can lie down on the top banister and let his tail swish back and forth as he looks over his domain. Well this wasn't going to be acceptable to me. But what could I do as the wood is the same type as which my breakfast table is made? I didn't want to ruin the finish there. So I cut out long pieces of cardboard from unused boxes and taped them to my upper railing with packing tape. (strong enough to hold the cardboard but not damage the finish. I then used the cat tape on top of the cardboard. (of course I had to remove all of my frames) Well the cat wouldn't have any of that! The stickiness clearly bothered him as he tried to walk on it. He would shake his paw and then jump off as it was no longer fun for him to lie there. After he tested it a few more times without success he finally gave up entirely. At about three months of having this eyesore setup in my house I quietly removed it and returned our framed photos. But after a few weeks he said, "Hmmm, this looks a little different. Perhaps I better jump up there to take a look!" After hearing a frame fall to the first floor I turned the corner and to my dismay saw "Sam" staring at me while his tail swished from side to side. I could've sworn that I saw a quick smile as I turned to slink off in disgust....

Sticky tape for carpet
Good tape to prevent my cat from scratching a specific spot on the carpet. The tape adheres to the carpet, but is fairly easy to pull off and doesn’t leave residue behind. Unfortunately, my cat is pretty determined and it has taken a couple of weeks of reapplying the tape to get her to stop scratching that spot. I am buying another roll as my cat has found another place on the carpet she likes. The tape adheres to carpet, wood, runners and itself. It is double-sided with one side needing to be separated from the white backing (a bit difficult).

Works Great!
We recently moved and when I couldn't find my double sided tape I bought this one and I like it better than the one we lost. I like that this is thinner material than what I had, and it's so easy to get the top layer off of the double side. It's staying on the doorway perfectly, you really don't see it and this was a good price. If I need more I will definitely buy this again.

glorified double-sided tape
waste of money. Is basically glorified double-sided tape except it doesn’t stay stuck onto the furniture. Better off going to a hardware store and getting proper double-sided tape.

Useless product
This is the second attempt to stop my cat scratching the furniture but it is so difficult to apply. The whole suite needs to be covered in it and that is impossible.

Poca duración
Se despega fácilmente, no dura, si evita que no arañen pero por muy poco tiempo
