A good value cover that looks much more premium than its price may indicate. I got mine in black, the case is made of a black shiny plastic and the cover a silky matt black material on the outside and a soft grey material on the inside. The case fits the iPad tightly, the cover closes neatly (the magnets also wake the iPad on and off) and the Apple pencil sits in Its customary position unhindered. The stand holds firm in both its high and low positions. Yes , the Apple Pencil is not protected and there is no protection over the buttons but I wanted something simple and lightweight to provide a bit of protection to the IPad if dropped and this case meets my needs.

Does its main job of protecting the screen from scratches while travelling. It is slim and fairly lightweight and has good tolerances - won't come out of the case. The main annoyance is the material used - the back part is a dark translucent black colour which seems to attract fingerprints at the slightest touch. The front colour also attracts fingerprints but not nearly as bad. The front cover is also slightly flimsy - due to the slim nature and the stand is not that study as a result. The volume control also has a stiff lip of plastic at the top which causes a slight annoyance when using the volume buttons - as shown in the picture. For the price, I would buy again. I did not want to spend £40+ on a case.

I received the updated version of the case that was introduced on the 14th of November 2018, which has the correct cutouts for the Apple Pencil. The JETech iPad Pro case fits my 2018 12.9" iPad Pro well, the inside casing is made from a solid polymer casing that hooks onto the four corners of the iPad and keeps it in place. While the earlier version had fit and cutout issues, I'm happy to say that this updated version seems to have fixed all that. The iPad fits snug without any corners popping off, with access to the speakers and charging port. The Smart Connector, on the other hand, is completely covered. But then again, you wouldn't be expected to use Smart Connector-equipped accessories with a case on. There is now a cutout for the 2nd generation Apple Pencil, and it attaches and charges fine. The Smart Cover aspect is also working great, it supports the auto-wake/sleep function and the magnets are strong enough to keep it steady in vertical stand mode. The only minor issue I had was that the material seems to attract fingermarks despite not being glossy. Hand grease would leave unsightly prints over both the back and front, but are easily wiped away and leave no permanent marks. Other than that, it's great value for the price, and I definitely recommend it.

Probably the best value for money case you can buy. I bought it for my 2018 12.9 iPad Pro as a temporary alternative to cases sold by Apple (which cost more than ten times more), but I don't think I am going to change it. It looks much better than the apple cases, fully protects the iPad, inclined writing and standing mode are quite sturdy and the sleep/wake upon closing works well so far. The only problem was the horrible, fish-like smell of the case when it arrived, but after airing it out and a week of usage it is barely noticeable. One more thing that this case doesn't have is a protection for the Apple Pencil when it's charging, as opposed to some apple cases that have a flap over it. I was worried about it, but when I have the case in my backpack the pen rarely falls off, and this then means that the case is much nicer without the flap. But yes, keep that in mind if you want to protect the Apple Pencil.

Due to the lack of options for the 2018 iPad Pro, I was left with this as the best option. Unfortunately, the plastic used is very cheap quality and it’s obvious from the look and feel. There are cut outs for some speakers, but not the others which makes no sense. This means little to no protection on some parts of the iPad. Furthermore, where the plastic extends over the volume buttons, it makes it hard to operate these buttons. It’s also likely going to become brittle and snap over time. I much prefer the options from past years which were of better quality and design.

** EDIT: After using this constantly for a year it still looks brand new! It has protected my iPad well (paired with a glass screen protector, also JETech) and although it has only left the house a handful of times I have taken it abroad twice and it survived. The material on the back is like a hard rubber and picks up a lot of fingerprints but I expected that with this material. Also, the smell that I noticed when it was brand new went away within a few days. Still very happy with my purchase and I hope they've not changed the quality since. Absolutely not one bad thing about it. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, but based on how well this has lasted I don't think I'd need to!** I actually can't believe how good this cover is for the price. It fits well, all the cutouts are in the right places and there is even a space to charge your Apple pencil on the side of the iPad if you have one (I don't so I'd have preferred the side to have been covered for more protection, but I may get one in the future). This case feels like it's a great mid point between style and durability. It's as slim as it could possibly be whilst still giving a decent level of protection. I'm sure there are much bulkier cases that protect better but as I will be keeping my iPad in the house I don't need something too heavy duty. It's a little on the heavy side compared to the Apple version, but I wasn't intending on holding my iPad much as it's so heavy even without a case! It'll be mostly used with its stand. The stand operates well and the magnet works effectively to unlock and lock the screen when opened and closed. The only downside can find so far is that the inside of the cover has a funky smell, I really hope it goes away in time! If this case had an Apple logo on it I'd be very easily fooled into thinking this was a genuine Apple product. If I'd seen it in person before buying I would have assumed it was triple the price. Very impressed so far but I've only had it for a couple of days so I will update my review in the future if I find any issues.

4 star for quality and 1 star for the value. It is another decent item from JETech at affordable price. Just got the item I hope it is durable as well.
