This book contains 8 sub-books. The 5th one is about political revolutions, their causes and remediations. Very relevent for today. Marxism (communism) always has the same excuses. Aristotle was well aware of them from his study of the past that he was aware of. After 3000 years, why have we not learned? Is humanity really that dumb?

I love Aristotle, and this Edition presents his most important work on Politics, which is the one I turn to from time to time in study. The same previous book is torn, so I need a new copy for reference. And amazon's dispatch is timely, packages being clumsy though.

We need to go back to the days when books like this were considered required reading for high school graduates

Aristotles "Politics" is one of the most important works in the history of western world. Although the historical setting is different today the ideas disscussed and the problems that Aristotle tries to solve are equally important as they were 2300 years ago.

Firstly, let me say this was not the seller's fault. Shipping and delivery were excellent and timely.However, when the book arrived, I was shocked at how small it was. For a hardback, in terms of size, it was much smaller than the average paperback. Consequently, the print is very small and reading the fragment indexes on the Greek language side of the book is almost impossible, unless you have a magnifying glass. I know that Loeb does a softcover version, and hopefully that would be a larger format.

While I am not able to read the ancient Greek, it is nice to have a complete edition. One can count on the Loeb Library neither abridge the text, nor skimp on the print quality.
