DMC U1539 Embroidery Transfer Pen, Blue (2 Pack)

Good price for the set. They work well and clears out once I put my embroidery design into water.

First of all, let me say that I was transferring a paper pattern to pillow cases (to be embroidered). This was the first time I'd done this - in the past I had bought kits with the pattern printed on them, so my skill level was at a zero. I think they may have worked much better if they had a sharper tip. My pattern came out kind of sloppy because some of the lines were too close together to be marked properly with the size of the tip. Of course part of the problem was with the pattern I chose, not knowing it would be tricky to trace. Just keep that in mind when you decide to use these.

I bought these as replacements for the one pen I had purchased at a craft box store that I had used successfully until dry. These are smaller and arrived very dry. I was only able to get a few uses out of them and they were quite a bit more expensive. I will buy the next one from the box store again.

I’m going to use mine for tracing stencil letters etc.
