Very easy to read day or night.
I installed this a week ago. It is very readable both day and night. The battery is lasting all night; I was worried that it would not. So far good!I choose this one because of the large numerals, my city has a minimum size requirement for those.Applying the numbers was easy, the templates guide you very well. Just two suggestions on this: 1. The outer edges of the templates have square corners, but those on the frame are slightly rounded; thus the templates don't quite fit all the way in (they buckle slightly). This makes accurate placement harder. I fixed this by cutting 1/8" of the corners off the template so it would lie flat. And, 2. Hold the numbers by sticking something flat and a few inches long (like a butter or paring knife) to the back of the number; just a little bit at the edge. This lets you more easily see and adjust before you stick it down. The flatness lets you get close the mounting plate. I actually used 2 knives, on opposite sides in a kind-of diagonal manner. This also lets you stick it on bit by bit, instead of all at once (easier to remove and adjust, if necessary).Installing on the house was straight foward, but could be improved. The instructions are to drill two holes and certain distance apart. It would be better if they provided a paper template with the mounting holes marked. My sign is mounted on faux stone-a bit tricky, so I drilled one hole and then measured to the next one and drilled it. When you do this, be sure to use a level to get it straight.All-in-all a good sign at a reasonable price.

Well Made
I love the look and the look and size. The letters seems sturdy, durable and easily read as you approach day or night. The solar panel and light functions well. I like that they have extra numbers in case the others can't withstand the summer sun.

Working Great for Over Two Months
Has been working great for over two months including the light. Has survived a couple feet of snow and rain. But the brutal Midwest weather may change that so recommend for now.

Keep in mind…
Keep in mind that this is not your usual solar powered sign. It merely consists of small, dotted, individual lights, which, is unattractive, in my opinion, and what you see in cheap solar lights. On the flip side it is metal, not plastic, which is a plus, the letters and numbers are large, so they are clearly visible, and if the row of lights instead of one uniform light doesn’t bother you, then, this could work for you just fine.
