5 stars. This item is for single mode fiber connections. It works flawlessly. 2 modules were purchased and just seem to be non functional but the other is working. I will be buying more. Over 50 devices are controlled by this item Insert sfp module, connect power to switch, then insert fiber cable. That’s it

Direct plug and play with dell 6200 series powerconnect switch and intel x520. No issues at all, connection is stable via 250m os2.

Worked great for my Ubiquiti US-8-150 to US-24-500 switches. Recognized immediately when using 9/125 OM2 fiber.

Needed a pair of CISCO SM OPTICS modules ASAP and had to be direct plug compatible. True name brand CISCO modules cost 20x or 30x more and are semi constrained due to logistics and supply chain issues. The packaging is unusual (metal box) but who cares. They worked.
