Snapped threading tool in head
Make sure your engine is very hot when trying to extract! This tool is good but cheap metal can’t take much. Now I have to find a way to get broken extraction tool out….

Works but not durable
It definitely worked to remove the glow plug from a 2005 duramax. I did need my own tap as the correct one wasn’t included but I knew that. However the pieces that thread into the body of the glow plug are very weak and they both stretched and broke on me. I ended up making my own. The centering drill bit broke immediately during first use. Overall it got the job done but it is weak and probably won’t do more than one or two without replacement or fabricating parts.

A life saver for me and my wallet
Purchased this for my mechanic because my broken glow plugs were lodged into the motor and he couldnt get them out. After purchasing the kit they finally came out. Saved me hundreds maybe thousands of dollars because my dodge freightliner sprinter is Mercedes brand- so it would cost an arm and a leg to send it into the dealership’s shop and have them take apart the motor. I purchased an additional kit because Im sure once my new glow plugs eventually burn out, it will come in handy

Lousy quality bits, but does the job a couple times
Worked for the two plugs I needed, step bit broke on the second. Cheap lousy quality bits that I can't find replacements for without spending as much as the whole kit. Even if you have to buy two of these its still cheaper than taking your car to a shop. Follow the directions that you'll have to find on YouTube and this product works for a couple uses

Cannot be used on a 6.6 Duramax without modifications
No directions or a parts replacement list. found how to videos on YouTube. Had to modify the retraction tool to fit 6.6 Duramax

Drill bits are poor quality
Drill bits are VERY poor quality and will break easily. Everything else in kit works good

Worked on eco diesel glow plug.
Used on a promaster eco diesel glow plug. Worked great. Got it out after it broke.
