There are micro tuners for each string but the pegs are easy to tune. It stays in tune very well and has a warm even tone across all the strings. I prefer the very lively upper register of my $1800 violin but for the money this beginner to intermediate violin cannot be beat.

This a great violin nice tone looks great sounds very good. O would recommend thos violin for the price. I use this for fiddle music mostly celtic tunes
