These spices are used to make German Gingerbread, "Lebkuchen". It's the taste that counts.

Even though you can make your own spice mix, getting the real thing from the home of German Ginger-bread makes it different. The spices are fresh and each packet is just enough to make a recipe of the cookies. They are great and necessary at my house.
