Xia-Xia Pets Hermit Crab Figure Bimini

Great little toy. Purchased for 9 year old daughter for Xmas and she absolutely adored it. Well made toy that didn't break/fall apart with alot of child usage. Good purchase!

I got my daughter 3 Xia-Xia play sets for her 4th birthday and bought these crabs to go with it. My kids loved playing with these and they worked just like they should.The only issue I have is the packaging is really difficult to get open. There are rubber bands wrapped around every leg and the shell of these crabs. Also the shell is either hard to get off and open or hard to get back on. This makes it pretty frustrating because the kids like to take the little toy in and out of the shell.I think these are cute and fun for kids to watch and play with and will probably buy them again in the future as gifts.

This toy was an anxiously awaited toy for my 5-year old daughter. I saw them in a department store - priced around $18. Although Amazon's price was much better, I have to agree with the other raters that these toys are extremely overpriced. I might also add that they are cheaply made. One of the rear legs of our crab kept falling off - right out of the box. Sadly, a replacement is not offered through Amazon so we're super gluing the leg in place before it gets lost since my daughter loves her purple crab. In addition, the paint chips off really easily so as the crab is scurrying around (naturally bumping into things) the plastic pinchers and face are showing a lot of scratches. The crab scurries around very quickly since it runs on button batteries. If you have a daughter with long hair watch them carefully if (or should I say when) when decide to inspect the bottom of the unit as hair can catch very quickly in the rotating wheels. Again, my daughter loves it but from a parent's perspective - it will likely be the last one purchased unless we find them greatly discounted (like under 5 bucks). As for the hidden surprise in the shell - a teeny, tiny cupcake that once again doesn't connect easily to the shell and constantly falls off.

My daughter loves Xia Xia pets and didn't have this one. Bimini made her collection complete and she enjoys playing with all of them.

Bought this as a stocking stuffer for my daughter and fresh out of the package the thing did not work. It will not move on any surface hard or not. It's legs will move while holding it in the air but as soon as you set it down it stops. It was a complete waste of money.

I ordered this and after receiving it sent it back immediately. The cost when I ordered was $23...and when I got it I couldn't believe the size. It was very small probably only 2-3 inches. I had expected a larger crab at that price. Decided not a good bang for the buck. Still had to suck up the return charge and am waiting for a refund. Too bad the dimensions were not in the description.

These are so cool...works well scatters about tge habitat just like it's suppose to. Hope it runs a while for my daughter to enjoy.
