The Inner Work Path: A Foundation for Meditative Practice in the Light of Anthroposophy Paperback – April 15, 2014

In this book, Lisa Romero has deftly consolidated much of Rudolph Steiner's inner path and carefully fused it with the key work of some of the more connected mystics and esoterists. In so doing, she has made the inner work immediately accessible to all levels of spiritual comprehension. Demystifying, immediate, and instantly thought-provoking, this book is a must for all seekers on the path.

Despite its brevity, this book is not a quick reading experience. While it is introductory it is still dense and deep and a reader's encounter with the content of the book should not be rushed. One will likely want to reread the book a couple of times to become comfortable with the flow of the contents. If you are a committed metaphysical materialist you will find this book's focus on developing the soul and the spiritual aspects of one's own self to be rough going. For the non-materialists out there this book will likely prove to be very useful. Those interested in Anthroposophy, Rosicrucianism, and other "right-hand path" approaches to self-development will very much appreciate Romero's wise and learned guidance through the trials by fire, water, and air. The book includes experienced advice on both general meditation techniques and specific knowledge of the famous Rose-Cross meditation. If one is open to the idea that one might be called to spirituality or higher participation in spirituality, then this is definitely a book to read and cherish.

Connecting mindfulness to the divine in the individual and the spiritual worlds is an activity so needed for our time.

Wonderful book!! Clearly and concisely written with foundational meditation practices and outlines the progress of the Initiate.Love this book and am re reading culling more and more on reviewing.

I consider Lisa Romero to be one of the most knowledgable and authentic teachers currently working out of Rudolf Steiner's impulse. I look forward to reading this book and posting a review of how I've found it helpful.
