Iโve tried many basmati rice brands over the years, but this Tropical Sun Golden Sella Basmati Rice (5kg) has genuinely impressed me, especially considering the price for such a large bag. First thing I noticed when cooking it is the aroma. It has that classic basmati fragrance but with a slightly mild nutty tone that becomes more noticeable once the rice is cooked. The grains cook up long, separate, and fluffy, which is exactly what you want from good basmati rice. It doesnโt turn sticky or clumpy, even if you make a bigger batch. Non sticky rice for Nigerian Jollof Rice
This rice is excellent quality. The grains cook up perfectly, stay separate, and donโt become sticky. Itโs ideal for making Nigerian jollof rice, giving a lovely texture and absorbing the flavours really well. Iโm very pleased with it and will definitely buy it again.
