I buy these air cleaners because they work really, really well. This one was to replace the one that fell on the floor and broke. They clean the air, I can use aromatherapy in them, they are quiet, but, best of all, they really work great at cleaning the air of dust and odors. I like the design, and they keep the air smelling welcoming. And, so far, they are reasonable. I am planning on ordering a couple more to put in various areas of the house. And they are a fair price.

So I L-O-V-E plants.. Though with plants often come fungus gnats.. I originally bought this product, do you allergies and breathing issues.. though, they turned out to be super little fungus gnat traps. So, I gave only three stars with easy to use, because my water spinning attachment, falls off, into the water sometimes. Also the essential oils doesn’t have a slow drip, they poor out fast. Though, the water soluble oils do smell great. I actually bought two. One was a gift for someone. Over all, I feel like it’s a great buy. It does appear to be helping with humidity. We have been having outdoor temperatures ranging as low as 0 Fahrenheit. My humidity level in the house hasn’t dropped below 40%. As far as how well it cleans the air, I have no clue, if the air quality is any better. Though, they do have a lot of good quality features. I recommend this product

I ordered two of these as I have a large family room/kitchen space. I have the units set up at opposite ends of the room. I took off one star because one of my units is making a humming sound instead of the quiet “swirl” sound. I’ve tried to maneuver the lid so it sits different but it’s not making a difference. I even tried sitting it on a small folded towel to see if it helped but it doesn’t. I can see the sound becoming irritating. The other unit isn’t making the noise. They are very pleasant aside from the humming sound from the one unit. They put off a great scent. The oils do not come with dropper tips so be careful when dropping oil into the water. Overall, a good purchase, I might be contacting amazon to do an exchange for the defective unit.

I bought 2 of these “rainmate” Machines in august of 2020- mainly because we had done a rainbow viewing and loved our rainmate from rainbow but did not want to spend the money to purchase each of our kids rainmates as well. Our oldest child has severe allergies to dust , animals and basically everything else . We did notice a huge decrease in her night time coughing almost immediately . Changing the water everyday and new oils . I hand wash with soap and warm water since I was using real essential oils . Today I looked at buying 2 more for my kids for Christmas because we accidentally let the machine run until it auto shut off due to lack of water one day and it now has a water residue type stain on the bottom and I’ve had to clean mold out of the turner a few times . We have loved these machines . The kids look forward to picking out what oils we use , and they both said they love it’s not too bright as far as the light . And it drowns out the noise within the house if they lay down before everyone else is in bed . We recommend buying! Just make sure you don’t let it run empty !

I read through the comments before purchasing. I saw where some people indicated theirs made a loud noise, whereas other's did not. Of course after plugging mine in and turning it on it makes a fairly loud vibrating noise. Now i'm no engineer but just looking at the motions it makes I can tell all it is going to take is for a slight variance in any of the pieces to cause this. As the watering is swirling it causes the entire unit to shake which in turn causes the vibrations of the top against the bottom (Since it doesn't lock tight but rather just sits on top of the bottom bowl). Now some obvious product upgrades would be to put rubber foot pads on the bottom and a method of securing the lid by either having a latch or the ability to screw it tight to the base. Since I don't have the capacity to make those changes myself and really don't want to return the unit I made a slight modification. I had a roll of the no slip shelf liner and cut off a piece to set the unit on. You can see in the picture that is what I have it sitting on, I will of course have to cut it down to size so it's not hanging out but i left it like that to show it in the picture. While this kept the unit in place it didn't stop the top from rattling so I took a small piece of the liner and draped i t over the lip of the bowl before setting the top down. Now my unit is working quietly without the annoying rattle and was a cheap fix since I already had the shelf liner. The box that held the oils was open and the oils were all loose in the box. Thankfully they were all still sealed and therefore nothing spilled in the box. The oil bottles just have a wide open top (no way to easily administer a single drop). I took a pin and poked a hole in the foil so I could only get a small amount out at a time. I recommend starting with just 1-2 drops at first I put in 4 and found it overwhelming. So if you are thinking of purchasing the machine I would just keep all of that in mind. Otherwise I find the machine very pleasant and it does add a nice aroma to the air.

I had ordered 2 a while back, the noise is not bad, a white noise more or less, ended up gifting them 2 mom and friend. Then ordered another 1. Got it and it splashed water everywhere on top around the on/off switch and on the counter. Contacted Amazon and explained, they were amazing. Sending a replacement. These little things don't filter much but I love the sound and the smell. Can't go wrong. The light is pretty too. Fingers crossed this new one don't spew water everywhere! Lol and for those questioning, I filled the water just a tad under the max line, just luke the previous two I had before. So no I didn't over fill. Lol *update* New one come same day they said it would. Works perfect! Thank u AMAZON!

I'm returning this product. I was drawn to it solely because I read online that it will cover 1,000 sq. ft. and run for 12 hours. Yes, it runs for a long time, however, the coverage is lacking. I've had to use more drops of my essential oils that should be necessary (about 20 drops) and even then, the scent is dispersed for only about 20 minutes. After that, the diffuser continues to run, but without emitting any aromatic scents. So all I'm left with is a noisy, colorful, swishing water bowl that's wasting electricity. In addition, the noise from this diffuser is quite distracting. It sounds like your washing machine is constantly running... a very noticeable "white noise" sound. The changing colors are pretty, but unnecessary, and they cannot be turned off. It's easy to operate - lift the white top, fill the clear plastic bottom with water to the max fill line, set the white top back on, then press the one, single button on the top; the same button turns it off. The oils that came with it are very poor quality. I am a doTERRA Wellness Advocate and would not recommend using the oils provided. I have owned several different diffusers and have never had to return one out of dissatisfaction... until now.

Love it! It's the perfect size to truly purifier a large room. I love the light scented oils but I have the smaller eckogecko and this is definitely worth the money. In fact i intend on buying 3 more and will give 2 of them as gifts. My dislikes are: the machine must be placed on a very sturdy table or solid nightstand otherwise the vibrations makes a loud noise which is not very relaxing. prohibits it from being relaxing. The cherry blossom oil is too strong and will give you a headache with only using a few drops! Also it needs a button to turn off the lights which i find annoying since i go to sleep with no lights and it becomes too distracting to fall asleep

I would really like to send this item back, but I do not have time to do so. I purchased 2 and they are useless. Perhaps the ONLY thing they do is add scent to a room if you buy your own...the ones that come with this are ghastly. So the false advertising is calling this item a Globe Air Washer....which is the reason I purchased it, but it will not take out 1 particle of dust from the air. I purchased 2 and the water and the unit are clear and there is no dust residue or anything. So products and perhaps companies like this have to be vetted from false advertising and selling inferior products that take consumer monies under false pretense. JAClean is in my book to never buy again and now I will try to be more careful in the future on what I purchase online. I would like my money back.
