NeoSport Men's Neoprene 3mm Waterman Wetsuit Jacket
J**M
Finally, an easy entry front zip wetsuit.
Finally, I have discovered a 3 mm. shorty wetsuit that is super easy to get into, is warm in my winter 47 degree unheated pool, and was priced exceptionally reasonable. The cross design zipper starting at the thigh and zipping across the chest up to the neck makes entry super easy compared to getting into both legs first and having to struggle getting into the arms and adjusting upward. With the left leg unzipped until both arms are in, the rest is a piece of cake, especially for my compromised right shoulder. I wish that I had discovered you folks sooner for the comfort that I sought for my deep water running and deep water exercise routine over the years. I am 5' 10", 160 lbs., and slim. The medium fit me perfectly; just a tiny bit short in the long sleeve, but negligible. I hope the last statement helps others in their size choice as did the posted reviews in helping me with my choice of size.

Great suit
This jacket is killer. I wanted a long sleeve spring suit with a front zipper. I live on Oahu and use it for kite surfing and cat sailing. I'm 6'1 210. XL is a perfect fit. The construction is solid. I've used it about 20 times now and it still looks new. Shipped to me for about $57 bucks?!! That is an insane deal. Thank you amazon prime. I love the front zipper. I have plenty of suits with the back zipper. This thing is really easy to get in and out of. I bought the 3mil. I wish they had a 2mil but the 3mil is fine for Hawaii. I've never been too hot in this suit. You can regulate your heat by zipping and unzipping the front zipper. You can't do that with the back zipper suit. They call this the waterman and it really is. I can stay on the water for hours in this thing. My friends hit the beach because they get cold. Not me. I will be buying another one. I will also be taking a look at other neosport products, because they are well made and are priced right.Update: Just bought another one.

Definitely tailored for the stockier "Husky" or "Full Fit" body and not quite as "tall" as the official NeoSport chart says
I'm 6' 3" and 238 lbs. I normally wear a 3XL in other brands and the Neosport size chart says I'm within the range for every measurement parameter. But the suit is clearly shaped for a wider body than mine and I have to stretch it up over 2 inches to accomodate my height. That takes most of the bagginess out of the midsection and you could say it does fit me, in the sense that I can get it on and it generally conforms to my proportions and looks okay. Even my BodyGlove 3XL isn't quite tall enough for 6' 3" but it's not as much of a stretch as this one. So the bottom line is that it's just not as comfortable as other 3XLs that I've owned. It does seem very well-made though, for the price, and I like the fact that it's the same thickness all over. It's just kind of the opposite of the Cressi and Camaro wetsuits which are tailored for very thin people -- maybe the NeoSport Waterman should be labeled "Husky" or "Full Fit" !

Surprisingly Satisfying purchase. Best to read review to ensure satisfaction
I am not a professional. This review if from a dummy's perspective. First you need to know why you are buying a wet suit because your need for freedom of movement is probably the primary consideration. For fitness swimming or triathlon training you probably have to go with sleeveless suits designed for that. Sleeveless suits are great if you need one, but they can be a bitch to get on and a worse bitch to get off. Lets jump to water skiing ( that means we are skipping scuba diving and snorkeling) I hope to waterski all winter here in south florida and have been slowly acquiring layers of wet suit to keep me ahead of the gradually dropping water and air temperatures. First someone loaned me a zippered long sleeve jacket. I was amazed at how easy it was to get in and out of. FIrst I bought a long sleeve zippered jacket from Neo Sport and then Neo Sport long pants. So far so good. I took a chance on Neo Sport because I recognized the name from a pair of gloves I liked. Neo sport is a legitimate company, not a fly by night chinese outfit. However, from reading what Neo Sports writes, I get the idea the Neo Spot proprietor is a hard butted case. Bear in mind that with wetsuits, for some reason the sizes seem to be all over the place, and you need to be sure you have the fit you want, well before you need the wetsuit so you have time to change sizes if needed. When my jacket and pants got a little cold, I purchased a long sleeve pullover made by Camaro Watersports, an Austrian company. The pullover is worn as a base layer under my jacket. The Camaro garment claims to be made out of a material named Titanium, which camaro claims holds less water than Neoprene. I like it. Then when I learned to let go of the water skis before crashing head first and began to fall backward into the water, the separation between the jacket and pants was open to the cold water, and I began to look for a solution. This garment was a perfect solution. What I like is that it is surprisingly easy to get into and out of. Now the only problem I have is getting out of the camaro garment, but if someone pulls it properly, it comes right off. However the position that person needs to stand in could enable them to try to do you Greek or Turkish. LOL I think the design, functionality and price of this particular model of Neo Sports Wetsuit is really superb if its the type of wetsuit you need. One reason I wrote this review is that some reviewers wrote that it is not easy to get in and out of. I disagree. One more point. Wet suits in general can be hard to get in and out of. Preparing for that is a good idea because if you minimize the friction you minimize frustration. If its cold you want to get out of that damn wetsuit fast. Also a sticky to get out of wetsuit might tear, and could spoil your enjoyment of an aquatic vacation. I called a dive shop for a recommendation. They told me they use a mix of 1 part baby soap to 3 parts of water to fit users in the dive shop. I tryed that and it works. There is also a kind of expensive product called Triglide that seems well recommended. I intend to carry both, because the triglide is easier to handle and you dont have to worry about it spilling. One more thing about water skiing. If you get hit in the head with the water ski, the ski instructor or driver will tell you it was a freak accident that almost never happens. Now I wear a helmet. LOL

Helps me stay in pool.
So I'm a 5 foot 9 inch male with all my fat in my belly at 210 to 215 lbs. For many years now I've had troubles getting in the waters and pools without taking the 20 minute to adjust it almost every six inches I get in. My wife suggested I try a neoprene suit but finding one for my weird measurements was difficult. So I figured at this price range I'll try this based off of what I read everywhere else it should fit OK. I got to say it is made my day that I can jump right into the pool now with family and kids and it helps with keeping me warm. Does it fit perfectly, no, but for $65 it's good enough. I'm not into to diving, or in water sport activities. Maybe this suit will change that. For keeping my skin feeling normal in a pool its 100% what is looking for and I couldn't be happier.

Small size fits like a glove!
Comfortable, good quality for a good price . When I ordered this wetsuit I was concerned about the sizing options. Being only 5'3 I thought the small might be too big according to the chart. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit perfectly. I got this suit for kayaking in cooler temps. The small size fits me everywhere perfectly so it should provide good insulation when in the water. If you are taller than 5'3 and over 160lbs you should go to the next size up.Overall the suit looks to be well made. All stitching looks like it should hold up well. The front zipper looks to be of good quality and makes putting on and taking off the suit very easy. As far as warmth I will have to update this review till I actually get in the water. I'm happy with the suit and look forward to using it this season. I would recommend it !

Fits well. Reasonable quality. Fairly priced.
This is a great undersuit for colder water temps or for when you don’t want a full suit. It fit me well though others complain about it crushing certain body parts. I’ve got great range of motion while wearing it and it’s easy to put on and take off with the front zipper. Good quality neoprene. Stinks a bit from now but that’ll go away after a couple of uses. This was a great buy for sure. Recommended.
