The ONLY GF bread that tastes good without toasting, with a texture similar to wheat bread
There are several bougie smaller-batch GF breads that I really like. However, ALL of them must be toasted. This one does not. In fact, it is not meant to be stored in the freezer like most GF breads. It can be stored on the counter for, I believe, a few days but maintains its pillowy soft texture if you store it in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator. Hallelujah!! I don't always want to eat a sandwich made with toasted bread...that's not how most sandwiches are served. Important to note: Canyon Bakehouse makes many flavors of GF bread. Only a couple maintain the soft texture and don't need to be toasted. For example their Mountain White GF bread does need to be frozen and toasted. If you look on the company website, only the ones that say "Stay Fresh!" are the ones that have the soft texture without toasting.

Not bad.
I bought this because the dairy free white bread that I like was out of stock. I know someone who can't eat gluten and they said that this one is pretty good... It's not bad at all in my opinion. The crust reminds me of a sweet artisan brown wheat bread I got at Whole Foods or something a while back, but it's tough and a bit grainy in texture. The inside of the bread though is actually quite lovely, however. It's light and fluffy, and there's a nice sweetness there too. The price is a little steep compared to my usual dairy free white bread, but that's probably because it's gluten free- however, it's less than half the size of my normal bread. This bread is actually quite nice but it'd be better if it was a little closer in price to other bread or at least a bit bigger so that people who actually need (not me) gluten free stuff can eat their bread in peace- and not lose their whole wallet on bread.

Best GF bagels I've found
These are the best GF bagels I've found. They are excellent toasted and topped with cream cheese. When toasted they have a nice outer crunch and soft interior. I have one almost every morning, along with tea. I prefer these to the Udi's brand, which are a bit bland. Udi's are also frozen, which is a bit of fuss for storage. Also, frozen bagels don't toast up as nicely. Each package of Canyon Bakehouse Deli White Bagels contains 4 bagels in air tight packaging. They are shelf stable at room temperature and can be stored in your pantry for weeks or even months. When opened, they are surprisingly soft. They soft and fresh for about 5-7 days, if stored in airtight ziplock on the counter. They bagels are scored, but you will need a bread knife. The score is too shallow and short (maybe 1/4 of the circumference) to be useful. But that's fine - they're fresher when you cut them yourself. Note: as with most GF breads, these aren't as good as the real thing. GF bagels are a bit more dry and a bit more bland than regular bagels. As such, I only eat these toasted. HOWEVER, for Gluten Free they are excellent. They are best (and closest to the real thing) when toasted and topped with cream cheese. I highly recommend them to anyone who must be GF. P.S. In my original review I mentioned that some packages were moldy. However, that seems to have been a temporary problem during the start of the pandemic. I have not received a bad bag in several years.

Not Bad for Gluten Free
Probably the better of gluten free bagels, but still noticeably different from gluten bagels.
