Taza Chocolate Organic Mexicano Disc 70% Dark Chocolate, Cacao Puro, 2.7 Ounce (1 Count), Vegan

I bought this chocolate bar and 2 other dark chocolate bars as a thank you gift for a family member because I knew he liked dark chocolate. I wanted to get him one of those $20 Anthony Bourdain chocolate bars, but they apparently don't make those anymore. I spent a few minutes on google trying to find the best quality/most highly-rated chocolate. I ordered the same 3 bars for myself out of curiosity. The Taza product is the only one I will buy again. Very little bitterness, deep chocolate flavor... this is the best chocolate I've ever had. I also really like the slightly gritty texture. The product was larger than the picture led me to believe. The disks are the size of a smaller beer coaster, and each pack contains 2 disks. I think this is a good value for the money.

This is a good dark chocolate. Sectioned as wheel. Taste is good and texture is grainy on the tongue. I like to break off a section of the wheel and eat for a quick treat. It is a good brand as far as I can tell.

I’ve been looking for a Mexican Chocolate minus the added sugar and cinnamon for Moles and the like. Excellent taste and quality, I’d highly recommend giving it a try. I think it gives a more authentic taste 😋

This package will fit in a the palm of your hand, I have medium size hands!... it's very tiny. Just so you know I didn't realize it when I ordered. However it is very good chocolate.

I love chocolate and this is dense and a bit grainy from the ground cocoa beans. It has a full rich taste

Rather than saying this is "great", I am going to say it is "awesomely different" with a flavor that most people like. I am a big fan. This chocolate is made in a very unique way, using stone ground ingredients. The cacao that goes into it is of excellent quality, and the ingredients are pure without fillers or additives that change flavor. The texture is almost gritty, and the finish is almost dry. I eat a lot of dark chocolate and this is without doubt the most unique. Being naturally-processed and high in cacao, it's a pretty healthy chocolate too. If you are giving a gift and want to add something that is something totally different and new, this is it.

Just cocoa & sugar & surprisingly addictive. It has a gritty texture, but a buttery chocolatey flavour. I tried the black pepper one too, wish they were not so expensive or I would buy them more often.

Probably the best and most unique chocolate I've ever had. The texture is amazing and so is the taste.
