I bought these because I revarnished my stairs with a product that is slippery as heck in socks and I was tired of mincing fearfully down holding onto the rail with both hands like I was on the side of a glassy mountain. I have bought umpteen pairs of slippers over the years and I always wear them for a week and can't get into a routine with them. But these are life-changing slippers. They stay on your feet, even when you're wearing them on the couch and getting them tangled in the blankets. The leather soles let me prance up and down my staircase-of-death like a billy goat. My feet feel like they are snuggled in cozy cocoons. Once I wore them to work because they feel so much like proper shoes that you forget you are in slippers. I didn't notice until I was walking through the drifts of snow and I thought: gosh my feet are awfully cozy - usually they are much colder.My one caveat is that they did chafe my ankles until they were broken in. There's nothing rough about the wool, the simple cut edge just rubs against your dry winter skin and even leaves marks. You're not supposed to wear them with socks, but I started wearing them with socks just until they were broken in. Now I don't have the issue anymore. The green color is very dark - you wouldn't necessarily look at them and think green unless they were in strong natural light.

Update 12/2019: After wearing these slippers daily for more than two years, I'm still madly in love with them. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. The leather on the sole has gotten shiny and doesn't have the soft suede finish any more, but the leather is 100% intact, with no thin spots or holes. I wear them mostly inside, but do occasionally wear them outside to take out the trash. They're worth every penny.This is my first pair of felted wool slippers, and I'm officially hooked. I've owned many pairs of leather/shearling slippers, and they never kept my feet as comfortable as these do.I have neuropathy in my feet from chemo 20+ years ago. They always feel cold, even if they're not cold to touch, and they're usually mildly achy. If they actually GET cold, they ache terribly, and my circulation is compromised - my toes turn blue, and the tops of my feet go white. The only way to warm them up is in a hot water soak.These slippers don't let my feet get to that point. They're always warm and dry - never clammy like they can get in a leather slipper. I would highly recommend these to anyone!

I purchased these because I wanted something washable unlike my previous shearling slippers. The rave reviews and the idea of wool seemed so much more comfortable than what I’ve worn previously. After about 8 months of wear, a quarter sized hole wore where my left little toe met with the material. I figured I could live with that. About two months after that the inside of the bottom of the same same slipper has rubbed out almost to the leather sole.With that said, these have been the most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet. They have kept my feet a perfect temperature and never have become smelly or dirty in appearance. I work from home and I often joke that these are my most worn shoe. Perhaps I put more “mileage” on than designers of loungewear expect, but for the price I would have hope they would have lasted a full year at least. This may work for somebody that only puts them on for an hour a day.

I received mine as a gift, and I've had them for more than a year! They are great, and they are holding up great too. No tears, no rips, and all the stitching is holding up. The calf skin sole is still intact, too. I am impressed with how well they are lasting, since I wear them every single day for about two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening. I wouldn't be surprised if my pair lasts for another 2 or 3 years. I wear them without socks like they recommend. They are super warm, but without being sweaty. Being slippers, they are flat-footed. There is no real arch support, and that took me a while to get used to, since I usually wear tennis shoes, boots, or crocs, all of which have arch support. I like them so much I plan to buy more pairs, and I'm even thinking about trying out their shoe model that has the rubber outsole. In other words, I just might start wearing Glerups exclusively. I've also researched a different brand called Haflinger, but I haven't tried those yet. From what I can tell, Haflinger has some arch support, but they don't make a boot model like Glerups. For now, I think I'm going to stick with the Glerups. Super happy with them.

These are beautiful and looking forward to them as a Christmas gift. They are a touch short for my long toes., but hoping they will stretch out just a bit. I am between a size 7 and 7.5 and have the 37's, but I have narrow feet so didn't want to size up. Also, I used my inserts from other felt slippers as these needed to be a little more cushiony because I am mostly wearing them without socks. They are going to be my go to indoor shoes for winter. There is nothing like felt to keep your feet warm.

These are the finest, most comfortable slippers I've ever owned, surpassing even the Haflinger and Ugg slippers I've had. I wear a size 39.5 EU (8-1/2-9) women's and size 40 fits perfectly. There is plenty of room in the toe box yet the heels do not slip or rub. There is a little arch support and when sized up, room for orthotics. The suede sole is very quiet, which I really like, and is secure even on wood or tile floors. The dark green color is much lovelier than it is pictured, more subtly marled, like the different colors shown on other vendors' sites. The quality of craftsmanship, both the felt and the overall construction is excellent, well worth the price.

Grundsätzlich ist festzustellen, dass sämtliche Bedienungsanleitungen auf der ganzen Welt, erst einmal in der Landessprache, wo die Artikel verkauft werden abgefasst sind, in einigen Ländern werden sogar noch weitere Sprachen angegeben, in Deutschland mitunter neben den diversen Sprachen auch noch verschiedene Dialekte. Ganz anders aber sieht es aus, wenn außerhalb Deutschlands hergestellte Produkte in Deutschland verkauft werden, da machen sich dann nur die aller wenigsten Unternehmen die Mühe einer Übersetzung bzw. Einer in Deutsch abgefassten Bedienungsanleitung. In diesem speziellen Fall ist es eine 32 Seitige Produkt-Broschüre. Ich empfinde das in hohem Maße ungehörig und Kunden-unfreundlich und mal ganz nebenbei ist es rassistisch! Und das gilt hier für ein dänisches Produkt. Auf eine fehlende und/oder nicht in der Landessprache des Landes in dem der Artikel verkauft wird, abgefasste Bedienungsanleitung sollte in der Artikelbeschreibung hingewiesen werden müssen, damit man solche Artikel von seinen Käufen ausschließen kann. Denn wenn Wünsche nach Gleichbehandlung, Respekt und Achtung Jahrzehntelang keine Wirkung zeigen, wird sich nur etwas ändern, wenn es für Hersteller und Händler ans Geld geht...

Sehr schöner Filzstiefel! Bei schmalen Füße etwas locker sitzend, mit Socken aber trotzdem sehr bequem. Ohne Socken fehlt Halt. Angenehmes Fussklima. Wärmt, wird aber nicht zu warm. Führt bei mir bisher nicht zu Schwitzen.Habe meinem Mann auch noch zwei bestellt. Der hat breite Füße und trägt die Schuhe ohne Socken auf der Arbeit, quasi als Arbeitskleidung (sozialer Beruf). Ihm war es wichtig, Schuhe zu haben, die rundum atmen können, bzw Feuchtigkeit ableiten können, auch an der Sohle. Er trägt die zwei Paar im Wechsel. Ist bisher sehr zufrieden.Die Verarbeitung wirkt sehr stabil, der Filz ist schön dick. Das neuere Modell in Braun hat zusätzlich auch noch Nähte, die ein Ausreißen des Einschnittes an der Seite verhindern. Das Modell in schwarz nicht.Ich habe die anderen zwei Paar übrigens direkt auf der Webseite des Anbieters bestellt. Mit Neukundenrabatt und Abzug für Vorkasse 12 € günstiger.

I bought my first pair of these 7 years ago. They are the best!!! Last long. No socks required, super comfortable, look amazing I could go on and on. Well made. Well worth the money.

habe diese Schuhe bereits in niedigerer Höhe, damals gab es deise Höhe glaub noch nicht. Sie wärmen wunderbar, leider fusseln sie recht lange... Die Sohle ist bekanntermaßen schon gerundet angenäht, damit schubbelt man auch keine Sofapolster "wund", weenn man die Füße hochlegt, wie bei anderen Modellen, z.B. mit einer aufgeschmolzenen Latexsohle, die am Rand eher "scharfkantig" sind.Ich hoffe, sie halten kleine Ewigkeiten. Für den Preis ist das wohl auch zu erwarten.
