Design Meets Function - Great Vacuum Cleaner
After saying my final goodbye to a 20 year old vacuum, and as a trained product designer I searched high and low for a vacuum that fits my needs - high performance, easy to handle and small enough to store in an apartment. I was delighted to open the box and experience the powerful suction of this vacuum cleaner, its so strong even dust a few inches away is cleaned up. Every tiny detail in this product is thought out, its is very intuitive and easy to use. Kudos to Eureka for really promising your brand values in this product - it is excellent, well made and affordable.

Lightweight, powerful, and easy to use
This Eureka vacuum cleaner is lightweight, powerful, and very easy to use. It picks up dirt, dust, and pet hair effectively on both carpets and hard floors. The 2.5L dust container is a great size and easy to empty, making cleaning more convenient. I like how easy it is to move around furniture and carry from room to room. The suction power is impressive for its size, and it works great for everyday cleaning. Most importantly, it saves time and effort while keeping the house clean, making it a great value for the price.

Great suction
Suction is terrific; lightweight and easy to use. I like it except for a few things. The "crevice" tool is too big for crevices - it's round and the bristles are not soft so can easily scratch services. Also, the suction actually sucked in some of the bristles on our vacuum the second time we used it! They are also hard to clean! The other bummer is no tool attachments. I thought I would be able to use the varied tools from our bagless canister that broke (after 20 yrs!!), but they don't - there is no adapter - still trying figure that out. So just be sure that you don't need to use other tools with it. Cleans our bare wood, tile, and throw rugs thoroughly. It works very well and the price was right at the time.

Small but Mighty Vacuum
Love my little vacuum cleaner! I'm in. My 70s and it is lite enough fo4 me to pick up and carry. I have 2 large dogs that she'd 24/7/365. This small vac picks up all that hair and the sand they track in with ease. It is so quiet i can use it while my daughter who works nights sleeps undisturbed.i can get under the furniture w/o moving it . The dust cup empties with one hand. The retractable power cord and small size make it a snap to put away when done. It goes where my upright cannot go and dies not blow sand back on me. I rate as five stars and recommend to seniors like wh p have to do their own cleaning. 😄💚💚😄

Great Suction From Such A Small Vacuum
Great vacuum cleaner for such a small size. It really does the job. Nice long flexible suction hose. Swivel head is really flexable. Definitely like the automatic cord retraction. Overall, it's worth the money. 5-stars!

SMALL AND EFFICIENT FOR PRICE
Here’s the deal. Light-weight so very Portable with enough power to get 90% of normal , everyday dust and debris from most surfaces. Elderly will appreciate that most of all. Flexible hose and easy to vacuum with the mid-length wand / handle tool. Bagless feature save money of bags and easily empties with a flip of a catch. Value and ease of use / portable are main features. Low noise and medium suction meet most needs. Would give as a gift. L

Not a forever vacuum
I am comparing this with a Kenmore canister vacuum that had since April 2003. I disliked it because it was heavy and bulky, and when the carpet attachment stopped working I decided on this one. This will definitely not be my vacuum for 22 more years. Pros: The suction is great. It picks up everything. The floor brush portion of the vacuum swivels nicely and lies flatter than the brush on the Kenmore. Neither fit under some of my furniture, so equally annoying. Not any louder than Kenmore, picks up cat fur and hair well. One reviewer said there were no replacements for the filter (which I found odd that they want you to wash after every use) on Amazon. I didn't try to order them, so maybe they are not actually available. Another odd thing -- there is no registration for Eureka online if you buy it in US. You have to call and they will register it over the phone. Online is "coming soon" they told me. Cons: I have a small, 1100 Sq ft. condo with tile and hardwood floors, some have throw carpets, so I still needed something for carpets. There are 2 of us and 1 cat. The cord on Eureka is 14' compared with Kenmore's 21'. I have to change outlets several times more than I used to. I don't find the Eureka to be lighter and it still gets caught on corners and furniture. I didn't find the dust brush to be too stiff as one reviewer thought, but the bristles are too short and the plastic tube the bristles are attached to hits the baseboards and furniture often. I'm probably going back to the Kenmore for that, but I have a storage issue -- I have no place for 2 vacuums. Also, the dust brush is permanently attached to the short end of the hose assembly, which means you have to bend over to do the woodwork. Not something people in their 70's and 80's (which we are) want to do. There are no other attachments, like a crevice tool, or furniture brush, etc. which the Kenmore came with. And the Kenmore attachments are used at the end a 2-piece metal wand, so no bending to do woodwork. You have the option of 2 lengths with the metal wand, or directly on the handle as the Eureka does. The controls on the Kenmore are on the handle, like the Eureka, but it also has the off/on control. On the Eureka you have to turn it off on the main portion of the vacuum. And when you switch from tile to carpet you have to change the setting on the floor brush portion in addition to the handle setting. The Kenmore head stops the brush rotation when you change to tile. I know the price was right on this one, but it just is not doing what I want. I will be looking around for a more versatile vacuum soon. Probably no online because I will want to lift it and see the actual set up in person.

Good little vacuum
Read the description carefully - the head does not have rollers, making it impractical for vacuuming carpet or rugs. HOWEVER - it has great suction and works well on hardwood floors - doesn’t scratch them and long enough to reach under furniture or suck up cobwebs around the ceiling molding. It’s tiny but packs a punch.

Everything I need in a vacuum cleaner.
My small Eureka canister vacuum arrived today and of course I had to put it together and try it out immediately. I am so impressed with the way that this little Eureka is built. The first thing I noticed is the fully adjustable metal wand as compared to the plastic ones that you get with most small vacuums. It's fully height adjustable with many many adjustments available. The floor cleaner can go from hard floors to carpets with no problem whatsoever just a click. It is amazingly easy to dump and the filter comes out very easily and cleans up very well. I used to own another brand that was this size and this one is miles above that one as far as noise, the way that it's made and the materials that it's made with and the ease of cleaning after using. I am a 73-year-old senior lady and I have just a small senior apartment approximately 500 ft. This vacuum will do absolutely everything I need it to do. I did spend some time looking for the dust brush LOL and then notice that it is actually part of the nozzle. Now that I have located that and found how easy that is to use I think it's an amazing idea to have it a permanent part of the machine so you don't have to go looking for it when you need it. All in all, this lady is very happy with her purchase. The only thing I would tell people to look for is that one of these little vacuums has an extra filter and the other one does not however they are both the same vacuum and they are the same price even though one of them has that free filter. Of course I chose the one without the free filter which is another case of just having a senior moment. Just make sure you check. I did order an extra filter for it but of course I had to pay extra. Anyway this is a really good little vacuum and I would highly recommend it to someone with a small place.

wont work in india it trips the circuit, never received any refund.
It took them forever to deliver the product and multiple calls to cancel the order. Multiple calls on Amazon product support. Didn't work. Finally, I will probably return it.

A good little vacuum cleaner
I've had this vacuum cleaner for about a year and I'm still happy with it. It's light, easy to maneuver with, the aspiration power is still going strong and there aren't any overheating or power issues. The only thing I find slightly annoying is that there are a lot of various clasps and etc. on the shaft of the vacuum, and I sometimes nudge them by accident. Overall a good machine.
