My 7 week old has super sensitive skin
My 7 week old has super sensitive skin. I used another, expensive body wash brand that I received as a gift but ran out and couldn't bring myself to pay so much for such a small amount of that brand. So, I decided to give Gaia Organics Shampoo a try. It is a wonderful product! My baby hasn't broken out in any rashes and his skin is clear and soft. I love the smell and the it is a great product for the price.

Good price and seems gentle for our baby, but not likely to continue use
Pros:- Nice, subtle lavender smell- Appears to be gentle on skin and tear free as noted- PriceCons:- Doesn't lather as well as the California Baby shampoo we used to use. It seems to have a bit of a watery consistency - so we need more than with previous brands- Little data on EWG for the organics line of Gaia, though their natural line appears to have some ingredients noted for mild-medium concern

Doesn't smell like lavender and is super watery. Wow. Other natural brands are so much better! It is too funny and watery and is very hard to lather.

This works fine on my 2-month old
This works fine on my 2-month old. I appreciate that it is natural and free from harmful chemicals. The smell is fine, not over powering. I have used it as a shampoo on my 4-year-old daughter, and it left her hair super greasy, so I wouldn't recommend this as a shampoo for any child with more than a little hair. Seems to be fine as a body wash though.

Doesn't smell great, doesn't foam up at all.
Don't like the smell, and it doesn't foam up at all which makes it difficult to wash toddler's hair. Won't buy again.

Love this shampoo!
This shampoo is amazing! I had another organic type before but it didn't get sudsy. This suds up a bit so you can tell if you have enough on the washcloth. My baby seems to like the smell and her skin is amazingly soft. Great product for the money.

Started using this product few month ago. This product is too watery like mentioned in other reviews so I have been using this product in a foaming pump so i don't use too much. However, i still feel like my babies hair gets too dry with this product so i use it every other day on her hair.

Shoddy dispenser quality!!
I haven't tried the shampoo on my child as yet. But my physical introduction to the product was a turn off. The bottle came within a Ziploc kind of bag in a box. On taking the Ziploc bag out of the box, I could see quite a bit of shampoo had leaked inside the pack itself. After I took out the bottle out of the Ziploc and washed off the soap on the exterior, I found that the dispensing head would not allow for a pump action. I tried the typical approach of unscrewing just the dispensing nozzle anti clockwise hoping it would release the head and make it popup after which I might be able to do the pump action and dispense shampoo, but to no avail. It was stuck, So I ended up transferring the shampoo to a generic travel size dispensing bottles I have in stock. Shoddy bottle quality!! I will update this post with the quality of the shampoo once it is used.
