New Jersey's Palisades Interstate Park

It's the basics of the park and its history -- a quick read, but worth it anyway.
Gives an overview of the park (the Jersey part specifically -- there's an Images of America book for the NY portion as well) including its history. Fascinating to know the coaliton of womens groups in NJ was instrumental in making the park happen -- otherwise the interest in getting it done was almost all on the NY side of it. Hence the Women's Pavilion, the castle-like monument up in Alpine.

More than Scenic Views
Brings the past to the scenic Palisades Parkway. Too much of NJ history is lost. Good to have this record.
