just purchased this cot and got to use it on a camping trip for two nights. So far I am very happy with it. It is lightweight and folds up to about the size of a typical bag chair. I was leery about this cot as I had no experience with Alpcour products. But for the price, I took a chance. The cot was easy to set up (just unfold and press down on the center frame tabs and you're good to go) make sure they are all the way seated. I slept well on it, the only reason for the four stars on comfort is that, like any cot, the material is taught once set up and a sleeping pad should be used between the cot and sleeping bag so that there is some padding for comfort. I am not a small guy (6'1 and 260, weightlifter) and have wide shoulders and it is wide enough for my upper torso to stay inside the frame. The cot did not flex, stress or creek when I turned over through the night. The frame is very sturdy and the pads were easy on my tent floor. Time will tell about the stitching and fabric as I will be watching the stitching for tears or separation. As far as the included pillow...I left it on the headrest as it helped keep my actual pillow on the cot while I slept. The included pillow is not for sleeping through the night but can serve as a head prop for reading etc... Folding up is very easy, just grab the fabric of both ends of the cot (head area and foot area) and pull up until it begins to fold, worked great. So far this was a good buy.

Love this cot. We’ve had it for several years and it beats an air mattress by a long shot. Only bad thing is it doesn’t come with a case. We h e another one that doesn’t come, and it’s pretty convenient, but that’s not a reason for a reduced star

I bought this cot for my 7 year old nephew. The only weak spot I suspect is in the carrying bag strap. It hasn't torn yet, but the fabric and strap just seem a little flimsy for the weight of the cot. So far, the cot has only been used for back and forth overnights, not hiking or camping. It would be pretty heavy and awkward to hike with. At 7 years old and about 50 lbs, he can handle carrying it back and forth himself. He only wants help when it's time to set up or pack away. That's always easier with 2 people, but completely doable for a teenager or adult. He absolutely loves being able to bring his own bed. It is also much easier, and has a smaller footprint, than a blow-up mattress. The construction seems solid. I'm pretty sure he will be able to take this cot off to college ten years from now. He's had it about 6 months and it still looks brand new. We usually put a comforter folded in half longways for a bit of padding. He thinks it's the greatest. I bought it for around $25/used very good, and the only thing used was the packaging. The cot was pristine. Very pleased with this purchase.

Comfortable is the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of this cot. It's incredibly easy and straight forward to set up. Simply slides open and closed, no latches or awkward buttons. The added storage pocket is also very handy for your phone or other items you want to keep nearby at night. I personally love using this cot while stargazing. Quick to open up and lay down to stare at the cosmos. I do combine this cot with a small air mattress while camping, but wouldn't necessarily have to. This is just a personal preference for added comfort. I will say the canvas material can be a little noisy when moving around, but the sturdy feeling cot makes up for it. I can very easily roll to my other side without fear of the cot tipping or collapsing. It feels strong overall, and for the price I'd hope so!

I haven't camped since I was about 17. Now that I am in the 65+ category sleeping on the ground of a tent is not an option. I am well pleased on how easy it is to set up and it actually fits back in the bag it came in when folded back up! I did use an egg carton memory foam on top of it - which made it even more comfortable. I did not use the pillow that came with it, I prefer a regular pillow. I camped by myself and fit well in a four-person tent with plenty of room to spare. Would definitely recommend.

This is such an awesome camping cot!! The best part of this cot is the comfort, easy set up and tightly packable in a carrying case. This cot is easily stored with all our other camping gear. I would highly recommend this cot for anyone who is looking for an extra bed for visitors as well as camping.

I both this cot because of the accordion style frame. I was not disappointed. The ease of set up and take down is just what I was looking for. I have used it 3 time in the past month for weekend trips with my 14 yr old son. He and I both agree we need to get another one. You have to keep in mind the top gets tight when extended and will be stiff, but it would support a sleeping pad if that is a problem for you. We layered with an extra blanket and slept very well. The head rest is elevated, but i found that to be a plus for us. I am a belly sleeper and it did not bother me one bit. I highly recommend this piece of equipment for it's ease and comfort!!

I am a career firefighter and work an average of 78 hours a week. This is important because I go from station to station and sleep in different beds multiple times a week. The fire department does not provide us with top of the line beds by any means. These are the cheapest bed that satisfies the requirements of providing a bed. Due to my repeated exposure to COVID-19 at work I have been sleeping on this bed for about 2 weeks now to avoid exposing my family to the unknowns of the serious respiratory virus (any naysayers about this believe me, its bad, and not just for the elderly. Ive seen it first hand). For the amount I paid I should have got the coleman brand with the mattress attached already. I have a blanket folded up underneath my sheets and cannot wait to get back to work to sleep in one of the department beds. This will serve its purpose as a small form factor for hurricane deployments but as soon as I have worn out its welcome I will be purchasing something more comfortable for sure.
