Loot Crate The Expanse Rocinante Spaceship Replica - Exclusive Not in Stores

Preassembled extremely accurate miniature replica of the Martian Rocinante. Slightly varied from the photo on the box as this comes with black mounting posts for the partial diorama that is actually too small for the already small ship. It should be 1-2” longer and it would still have fit in the box as well as filled more of the background for photo op. The replica is able to be so accurate due to the already digitized image in the show able to be faithfully recreated during manufacturing. It’s not like they are trying to sculpt a replica based on random photos. The only complaint is the nose section where the antennae are bent from tight packaging. I bought two. One for collecting the other for play. Yes I am a grown man with the imagination of flying the ship around. I am not ashamed. I have many flash lights and the 395 and 365nm wavelength UV lights allow for the plume to light up brightly as shown. The decals are already placed and also UV reactive. This was worth the value and I recently binged all of the past episodes of the Expanse. New fan and this was a great find for me. I kind of wish there was a serenity ship model in the same scale.

At <$7 I'm very satisfied with this miniature. Details are acceptable, it's a reasonable size, and the display is nice. Paint is decent, with the text and logos nice, though I'm not a fan of the "battle damage" paint speckled all over it. Personally I prefer the MCRN Tachi or Rocinante's season 4+5 livery, of with the PDCs deployed, but it's nice to get an inexpensive miniature at all in the first place. One of my copies had a slight bend in the overall hull, but dunking it in boiling water for about 10 seconds allowed me to bend it back into the correct shape, which it retained after cooling. You can also remove the exhaust effect if you're careful, though the inside of the drive will require a little paint afterward.

For any fan of The Expanse, this is a nice item, albeit pretty small in scale. But for the price, it is a great value.

Love this. Packaged in a nice box. For its size it’s highly detailed and nicely presented with a stand with the background of Jupiter. The price I paid was definitely good value for money. If you’re a big fan of The Expanse this would make a nice display piece

This is a great model befitting a great story series. We’ve watched the five seasons. I bought and have read the eight books of the Expanse. I’m waiting for the ninth book that is coming. Here’s the thing. I really wish there were a larger model of the Rocinante. Plastic OK, porcelain would be better. I want to make a bedside lamp for my 4 year old grandson — he’s an astrospace engineer and he needs a space ship. A model of the Rocinante would be just right. I love the one that is available, but it is small for what I want to do with one.

This is a delightful little model, well worth it's rather low price. It is small, it fits neatly into your palm, but it is quite detailed. It fits nicely on its stand and it is made so the ship tilts towards the viewer a bit. Perfect for a desk or a nightstand. A small, blue light in the back to light up the clear plastic plume of the Epstein Drive would make this one near perfect. Markings represent the Second Season Rocinante.

You will pay 2-3 times as much for comparable miniatures. Is it a crisp, precise miniature? No. Is as good as most of what is on the market? Yes. Is it good enough to display? Absolutely! The only glitch on mine is the rear stand peg is a bit off. That will take a couple of minutes to fix. Be aware, the product I received had black legs instead of clear, but I think that is an improvement. I would have ended up painting the pegs black anyway. I strongly recommend this miniature at the reduced price.

Ok--I think the Expanse is the best thing to happen to TV in a decade so it's only fitting I stock up on some official merch. This was only $6 so I had certain expectations and wasn't too far off. The pegs for the stand don't quite fit. No big deal--glue that sucker. The antennas off the bow are a little janky but nothing that can't be fixed by heating it with a hair dryer and straightening them out. Then I noticed the whole ship is bent in the middle--that's a slightly bigger issue (and also explains why the posts for the stands don't seat right). That might be corrected by heating it as well but could take off the paint/decals. It's small enough I might just add it to next year's Christmas tree and nobody will see the bend.

As a fan of the show It's pretty cool, but it is very small.

La miniatura es excelente por el precio, no esperes metales o super calidad, solo buena calidad con detalle suficiente, la unica otra que conozco es la del kickstarter y costaba 200 dolares con imanes para los cañones y el cañon de rieles espectacular, pero esta por 200 pesitos esta muy bien y se ve excelente en una esquinita de la oficina, el escritorio o el mueble de los coleccionables, lo recmiendo amplaimente, yo compre 2 una para display y otro para mantener en coleccion. the expanse podra ser la mejor serie de ciencia ficcion, en mi opinion es la mejor y amo battle star galactica, firefly, startrek clasico y algunas pelis, (starwars no es scifi aunque tambien me gusta), fanaticos de The expanse , no lo duden, y los que no son fan vean la serie y conviertanse en uno, no se van a arrepentir

Aunque un poco pequeña es una pieza muy bonita buenos detalles el stand la hace lucir mas, y tomando en cuenta los pocos coleccionables que existen de esta excelente serie es mas valiosa.

The model itself is great, but there was massive air bubbles and a crease in the sticker used for the background of the stand and the holes in the stand were not formed properly so I was required to drill them out a little in order to use.
