I gave it 4 stars because I didn't receive the colors on the picture. I received two natural rolls and a red when what I really needed was the green but I made it work. The texture is more like paper but that worked fine for this occasion.

Beware! This is NOT raffia! It is paper ribbon made to look like raffia. I was in utter disbelief when I opened it and felt it. It’s instantly obvious that it’s fake. You couldn’t possibly use this in the same ways you could use actual raffia. This doesn’t have anywhere near the strength or texture of real raffia. It’s crap, in other words. I consider it a fraudulent product.

I bought this “ribbon” because I wanted a biodegradable Christmas ribbon. Not worth it: the paper tape is too fragile. It broke constantly. I regret buying it.

Perfect complement to my natural and recyclable Christmas gift wrapping. Exactly what I’d expect from raffia ribbon, and a generous amount on each spool.

I would buy this again and again!

I loved the quality and the amount of raffia in this set. I have used it on several DIY projects and still have a bunch left over.

You cant curl the twine with scissors but other than that looked super cute on my gifts.
