Great Price for the OEM Dometic Valve.

The was the fourth valve I have had replaced. One every year!! Three were under warranty, but the last wasn't covered, although it should have been. The design is apparently flawed as it is almost impossible to keep from freezing unless it is removed, although I am not sure it actually froze. It is not hard to replace unless it is like the one in my rv, where it fits in a corner with all the connection behind the toilet in a very restricted space. The last one the dealer replaced had not been screwed in which may have contributed to the leaking. The rep at SeaLand recommended using the enclosed screws. Anyway, no more leaks, at least for now. Anyway $40 beats a $100 or more to have it replaced by a service center. I plan to keep a spare.

Dometic toilet 300 started leaking in my 2020 Keystone Hideout. I called the local RV supply and they wanted $69 for this part. I decided to order it from Amazon. The valve is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap. It’s an original OEM part. Installation was easy with no leaks. However, the screw that comes with the part would not tighten so I used the screw from the damaged valve. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This fit my Dometic 311 RV toilet. Upon first install, I experienced a slight dribble of water running into the bowl while under pressure. I didn't think of it until I was no longer on a water supple, but I thought perhaps I had inserted and over tightened the valve into its socket causing the nipple feed to pressure up against the flush pedal. I've backed off the screws a bit and will see what happens next time I'm connected to a water supply. In any event, the amount of water dribbling into the bowl will take a long long time to cause concern. I suggest that if you need to replace this valve, install a shutoff for water coming in if you don't one already installed. Also, change all the seals while you're at it. Happy going.

My toilet began leaking near the foot pedal. I called Dometic and they recommended replacing this valve. They would charge $75 plus shipping. So this was a much better deal. It’s an easy replacement at first blush. But my toilet was close to the wall in the WC and it was difficult to get hands and tools in the right places. So, what would have been a 5-minute job (if there was more space around the toilet) became a 60-minute job. But none of the abovr the fault of the part. The replacement works great No more leak.

Good price for the valve but the problem was the peddle bunched a hole in the peddle cam causing the peddle to jam and no water to flow. Dometic has serious problem design on 310 toilets. The peddle cam design has no strength in the material and Dometic doesn't offer a replacement part, just new toilet., this model has a serious problem.

We had to replace the flush valve on our Dometic 300 toilet as the existing flush valve was leaking this spring when I pulled it out. I was going to replace it with an after market brand that was cheaper, but decided to go with the OEM one instead just to be sure I didn’t have any unexpected issues. Glad I did...perfect fit, very solid and firm fit in the valve “holder” and the clips are firm plastic. Watered up, and everything held without leaking. Very happy! Now to take the toilet apart are reseal the other gaskets to ensure I don’t get the dreaded Dometic 300 stench....

My local RV dealer wanted $90 for this part, so I feel here it is good value. Having said that, when I inquired about the failure of the valve I was told it is a common problem and that no changes to the construction have been made, so we shall see how long it lasts.
