Its this company crulty free?

Pure Encapsulations DGL Plus contains only herbal extracts and does not do animal testing.

I bought the product. But label does not say how much percent glycyrrhizin is in the tablet. Is it 5% or 10% or 30% ?

Licorice (glycyrrhiza) root is the dried and ground rhizome and root portions of Glycyrrhiza glabra. Deglycyrrhizinated licorice is a form of licorice that has been processed to remove some amount of glycyrrhizin. Gycyrrhizin has been reduced because it can cause several health issues including: Elevated blood pressure that can potentially lead to stroke Low potassium causing myopathy (muscle disoders) Irregular heart rhythms Pre term labor I personally called Pure Encapsulations and was informed that the amount of glycyrrhizin is =/< 3%.

I took this supplement—1 about 15-30 minutes before each meal—for 3 months for heartburn. I usually emptied the capsule into a bit of water and drank it. Along with avoiding foods that triggered heartburn, not eating within 3 hours of bedtime, breathing deeply and chewing thoroughly when eating, and not overeating, my awful, painful heartburn is gone.

While this product is not certified low FODMAP, since the ingredients have not been formally tested, the ingredients are not known to contain high amounts of FODMAPs.

Great product!!!

Been having gut issues for 5 months, had this gnawing feeling in the middle of my abdomen, didn’t know what it was I also didn’t have an appetite at all. Worked but made me GRUMPY

Worked.....BUT made me crabby and impatient...whoa. I bought empty gelatin capsules and split a capsule in half, and then in thirds to wean off, BUT it did work. Reflux gone and throat swelling better! Good to remember that just like a shot of alcohol can affect your mood, so can a supplement...😉😉🤪🤪

Honest Review, helped me with my digestive issues

This product truly helped me, very similar to the other reviews here, I was having gut issues and acid reflux issues. I kept taking tums and even omeprazole but the issue kept coming back after a week. I forget how I encountered this but I started looking into I think GERD and possible problems with just my stomach lining. I saw the reviews on this item and thought, maybe I would give it a shot, fix the actual problem not the symptoms. About 1 week in, my problems were gone! I feel like a much different person (in a good way). I feel stronger, I think the acid reflux or whatever I had was not absorbing much of the nutrients that I was intaking due to my stomach issues but now I feel so much better. I highly recommend this item; for me I took this once a day, I saw a review I think they said someone taking it twice a day possibly gave them some issues, so I didn't want to push that. But once a day for me really helped!

DGL acid reflux supplement

Used this product for a week with little to no results. In fact, I almost believe it made my GERD worse. However, I have read a lot of reviews and articles which claim to show good results with DGL products and this brand. Unfortunately it didn’t do anything for me. My GERD is pretty severe as a side note. Hope this review helps someone.
