Great story - really good for first time campers Incredible for my 3 year old son who loves to go camping!!!!

My kid loves reading this book! It is perfect for regular bedtime or camping bedtime.

Such a cute book and our littles love it!

Cute book about a family camping trip and Pete who is afraid of various noises he hears. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 star rating is that this book is not a "must have" for a child's library. Not many of my students go camping, but they will relate to Pete's fears. This is rated as a "Beginning 1 Reading" book. Depending on if you're reading it to a child or they are reading it solo, this book would be good for ages 2 through grade 2. There are some multi-syllable words (such as marshmallow) and graham that may be new to solo readers.

Going “camping” in our classroom next week. Bought this book to add to our experience. We love Pete the Cat and all of his friends. Highly recommend Pete the Cat 12 days of Christmas, it’s really fun to read. He’s fun and adventurous but also teaches kindness, caring and sharing. His quirky friends are a fun component too

Great Book for Kindergarten or Preschool level. The pictures are very engaging and the words are on course for what my child is learning in school.
