At first we were going to send it back because it was glitchy. We were able to get it working properly. Great little tool!

This hs been a lifesaver! We have strings of lights along our bannisters and further. So every once in awhile, there’s a string of lights that half are working, and the other half isn’t. So I just bring in that string, and with this light checker, I can check each unlit bulb, and eventually I can find bill that doesn’t work, and replace it with many of my extra bulbs. I’ve been using this for years, and it’s still working perfectly!

This is a simple tester to allow you to determine if a lamp is failed. Given the frustrations of dealing with Christmas lights on the tree this makes the job of lighting the tree easier.

This product is not operating at all. Tried to replace batteries but that didn’t help. The tool does not function at all. Doesn’t detect ac outlets nor bulbs. Would not recommend.

I thought the idea was great! But I couldn't get the bulbs out with this tool. Therefore that being said, I cant even say how well this works. But I'm keeping it and will try again when I put up my tree in November.

My Xmas tree after many years finally gave up on a few lights. There were too many lights for me to remove and replace so I got this Tester to locate the culprit and replace it with a new bulb. I sweated over the whole project, buzzing every light connection, etc. After having located what I thought was the broken one, I turned to the "bulb extractor" gadget on the unit. Forget-about-it. Does not work because it doesn't fit around the bulb. I had to resort to pliers in each case. Plus that piece was flimsy and poorly designed. I sent it back.

My Christmas lights wasn't working. Since I got this, it did a good job. All my lakes are working again.
