This works really well to melt the ice, spreads easily, and does not hurt my fur babies paws! Quite safe.

The stuff works well, though Safe Thaw works better, which is probably why it's hard to find. But the lid is almost impossible to open, even with a bucket wrench. I wound up having to break the lid and pour the ice melt into another container.

I really think this is a great product that works well for ice and the fact that it doesn’t hurt the beautiful earth angels paws is the main reason I feel good using it.Also, as another added bonus it’s gentler on the concrete so in my book it’s a triple win!!!

Works as advertised.

It simply does not work. I assume it is pet safe and does not damage concrete......but it also does not do a d@!n thing to the ice or snow either....like melt it?!?. Out of frustration and since I already started using it and probably can't return, I literally dumped this stuff 100% coverage over about 2" of snow covered ice. After a day or so, this stuff disappeared, but not even a millimeter of the snow or ice melted....it just had a little bit of blue color speckled in it. So, if your goal is to keep friends and neighbors away from your dangerous icy walkway, but just want to add a little color to it.....then by all means, this is the product for you.
