It's small, lightweight, and ergonomically easy to hold. It's perfect for travel or for arts and crafts. Can be easily stored in my suitcase or my craft bin for dual purpose. The handle can be folded in, which helps with space saving. Highly recommended.

Conair has a pretty powerful little blow dryer here. Suprised that it had this much heat and force. Prior travel dryers I have had were much weaker. It is also real light weight. Compact when its folded, too. Great for traveling where the presence of a blow dryer (or your own blow dryer) is in doubt!

Strong and nice and compact for travel

Stick of standing in line at the gym waiting to use that ONE dryer they have? Need something small enough for travel but MUST have a cold shot? You still want powerful right? This is second to the tiniest kind out here, it's not the smallest/it's the second smallest but it had everything that I wanted in a hair dryer for the gym/travel. Only thing is the LOW setting is when you push the slider UP and the HIGH setting is when you push the slider DOWN (with your thumb there are no buttons to press on it). Just so you know. At first, I pushed it up and it wasn't very HOT, so I tried the other way and WOW yep, this is a powerful hot small portable dryer. I'm very pleased with it AND if folds!

I admit that I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this as I was hoping to find a similar very compact dryer like my Braun, which failed me after over 15yrs of service. And when I saw all the wattage put out by this unit, I felt it was a bit over-done for a small travel type and I didn't want something so hot that my hair would be toast. But I was pleasantly surprised in that the lower wattage setting...whatever that output is, seems to be almost perfect, maybe not quite as warm as my old Braun unit which seemed to have softer and less air flow on the lower setting. But with this Conair, if I need a bit more drying power I just select the more aggressive setting for a minute or so. I also noted this product appears to have a heavier duty cord than my old Braun product. I like that and with the nice compact folding handle I feel this Conair is, so far at least, well-designed and a good value.

I recommend avoiding this Conair hair dryer. While it might technically work, I didn't even turn it on after seeing the interior. I’m not a professional inspector, but the black spots covering the internal thermal insulation look exactly like mold—the last thing you want to blow around your hair. Additionally, there are two "minor" drawbacks: The body is made of very low-quality plastic. On 220–240V power, you are restricted to the "Low" heat setting. Even though this is mentioned in the description, it’s a frustrating limitation. I bought this as "New," and while it doesn't look used, the quality is questionable. Thankfully, Amazon Customer Service provided a full refund. Update: I've got an update about this hair dryer. It turns out my initial suspicion of mold was most likely incorrect. I just bought a brand-new hairdryer by Remington in a similar price range and found identical dark specks in the same areas. It is highly unlikely that two different dryers would have the exact same flaw. I did a wipe test with a dry cotton swab, and it left no residue, confirming these dots are just natural mineral inclusions within the heat-resistant material itself. ​In fairness to the manufacturer, I am raising my rating from 1 to 3 stars. If you are wondering why not 5 stars: while it's not mold, the plastic quality still feels cheap, and the temperature range is quite limited. Even for a budget hair dryer, these are pretty serious flaws.

This little dryer worked great for me in France, UK, Spain and Italy. The low setting at 250v is identical to the high setting at 120v. When it's set to 250v, you can only use the low setting (which is like high) - it locks the high setting to prevent it from being used. So, if you like to use the low setting on your hair dryer (for a less powerful heat/blow), you wouldn't have that option when it's set to 250v. Personally, I don't ever use the low setting - I want my hair to dry as quickly as possible! And that's exactly what this little guy does for me. It is a little loud, but in my experience, that's how it is with small hair dryers - and it's a small price to pay for so much power in such a small package. I also find that my long hair gets more easily sucked up into small dryers, and this one is no exception. I just take a little extra care not to keep the air intake close to my hair - which isn't hard, since it's opposite from the dryer nozzle I use this when I'm traveling in the states, too, but not when I'm home, as I have a larger quieter dryer I use when I'm not traveling. This dryer folds up very compactly, and is easy to fit into even a small bag. I love this little dryer - if it broke, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
