Hitec 32645S HS-645MG High Torque 2BB Metal Gear Servo

The product operates correctly so far after giving it a test on September 14, 2025.

This is highest torque analog servo in Hitec product line. I bought this one for 30$, and digital servo for 70$ to compare them for robotic arm application. This one is nearly silent, and has a very strong torque, nearly as much as 70$ digital one. I would even say, that I really like the way this servo sounds while working. Digital servo for 70$ has very loud, high-pitch sound, which is very unpleasant to everybody around, and people asked me many times to switch off the robotic arm, as they did not want to hear this sound. So I am now using only HS-645MG in all robotic arms. Strong work horse servo, reliable metal gears. Highly recommend this product to anyone, good job, Hitec guys! And if you can, please silence you digital servos, because acoustics is the reason we cannot use them often :)

These are my favorite servos for what and how I fly. My only complaint is they took so long to arrive from when I ordered them. And to top it off, Hitec has a promo, buy 3 get 1 free.

Pretty good servo. It didn't quite work with my initial build but only because I was making a "scientific wild-ass guess" as to the amount of torque I needed. But I was able to modify my plans to use lighter materials and it worked like a charm. Definitely more powerful than the servos available at Frys!

Perfect fit ! Would buy again.

As described

This is a great all around servo. It is metal geared, inexpensive, ball bearing, fast, strong, and reliable. I trust them all around on my $600 model airplane. They also make great servos for walking robots, much cheaper than the purpose built ones that cost several hundred.

Product as described

Over the last two decades I have used hundreds of servos for dozens of builds. Radio controlled devices, stage props, special fx devices and arduino projects. The Hitec brand servos are without a doubt the most reliable with the most consistant quality servos I have ever used.

habe ich als starken Lenkservo für einen LRP Scout Crawler eingebaut. Sehr wichtig . kauft auf jedenfall einen Aluhebel für den Servo und nehmt bei einem Crawler nicht die Plastikhebel. Der Servo hat 24 Zähne (wichtig als Angabe für den Aluhebel). Funktioniert bestens mit einem BEC Spannungsregler.

These are a great strong servo. Have used them for years in helicopters, jets and prop planes. Excellent Hitec quality!

My favourite servo if I want to save a few bucks. Speed is fine and the torque is great.

Does the job. Quality product, well built, solid. I use it in a trail vehicule and it works very well.
