Works great they well-made even fit in the whole. The other brand came out of.
Follow up: 9/29/24: I added a photo of my fix for the problem but bear mine. The doors will continue to work for a very long time. I would say it was probably a year of heavy use before the pins slid out and the door fell out, but you can put it back together and glue a little piece of plastic on as in the photo it’ll never slide out again. these are good doors but have a flaw they do not work well on Insulated 1-3/4” exterior doors. The article says that will do up to 1- 3/4” door. My insulated exterior door is right at an inch and three-quarter thick.. You can get it on there. The problem is the part of the frame that should cover doesn’t cover the little stay that holds the hinge bar in place. See photos: so after a few months the pins slide out and the panel falls out: reference photos. the two pieces of the door frame that slide together hold hinge bar pin in place and three-quarter they don’t come together close enough to actually hold that pin in and the pin works its way out. The door falls down. They do seal up well, the wind doesn’t blow them open. It keeps out flies mosquitoes but the dogs and the cats come through it and the goats even figured it out. It’s a great dog pet door, except for the fact that you have to keep putting the panel back in to do that you have to take one side of the frame out, slide the hinge pin back through there slide it back through the door. It’s a little bit tedious to do get it put all back together and it’ll stay together probably another six months or so Until it works loose again. It’s still the best pet door I’ve bought are used so I would still keep buying them and did I have 2 - 85 pound dogs, Labradoodle and golden retriever that use the door a lot so mine probably works loose more quickly than someone else’s. There needs to be fix for that issue, other than gluing a piece of plastic to the side door, which I’m about to do. Maybe Company can come up with a fix Or if you want to contact me doggy door company I’ll be glad to send you a little diagram of a very simple fix. That will allow it to work properly on a full one and three-quarter door without pins sliding out. I won’t charge you for the diagram. You still have a good doggy pet door. Original review. This is so much better than the other one I had one with the floppy plastic door. This one is a multi double panel insulated door. it stays connected. Highwinds don’t seem to blow it open. I haven’t had anything above 40 mile an hour, but still the other one would open up and let all the air blow in, the cats don’t like it as much as the dogs, it’s a little heavier than the plastic one was but they still push it open to come in. Seems very durable like it will last a long time. Happy with it.

Thank God I found these
I bought a door thru Home Depot with a pet door and didn't know where to find the doggie door replacement. Thank God for Amazon. This is the second time I bought this door. It's a perfect fit. It's made of 3plastic box like panels as a flap, with rubber on sides to keep air out. I wouldn't use it on a very petite dog like chiquaqua,or super tiny, it may be too heavy for a tiny dog, better with 10lbs or more. It falls into place with magnet. It wears faster with large dogs about 3 years. Small to med dogs can use the door much longer. Also, it may loosen towards the end, but you can tighten it back up. I'd rather have the flap door, but we keep our doors open thru winter so the girls can go out. This dog door helps keep out the cold and hot air. Price is fair, it is a great door. I do recommend

Buy this one
I just ordered a second one for my garage. Durable, easy for the dogs, secure when the cover is installed, no weather / leakage issues. Pretty much the best dog door I've ever seen.

Now this is how a dog door should work.
What a great experience compared to the previous dog door I just dealt with. Previously tried a more expensive dog door with disastrous results. Came with the wrong hardware and door never closed correctly. This one installed easily with the supplied hardware and the door works perfectly, sealing shut after every use. Plus the dogs use this one! The previous one which I had to leave in the hole till this one arrived was not friendly to my dogs. The only way they would go through is if I held the flaps open. Maybe because this one is see-thru, or some other reason, but they took to it quickly. Now, I will say teh previous door seemed to be built more solidly, but I'd rather have something that works over just being heavy-duty, and this door seems solid enough. Time will tell how it holds up, but it's a winner for me at the moment.

Tired of replacing flap doors that tear across the top edge, we purchased this door because 1) the top panel pivots, as opposed to having a pinched flap, and 2) because it is insulated. ✨ 5-Star Design. We purchased two of these because we need a 20" tall door. Refer to picture to see how we cut and spliced the frames together to accommodate 4 door panels. The door lock still works for dog control because it covers the top three panels. 💡Dear Ideal Pet Products: Please offer a 4-panel door for those of us who have Miniature Great Danes. 😉 This door was used to replace the door and frame that were originally in the glass sliding door insert we use. After trimming the depth of the door frame as much as could be while maintaining its function and integrity, the frame was still too thick for our panel so Hubby cut some cork tiles to fill the gaps, as well as provide a weather seal. In no way is this a reflection of the product, just know what to expect, if like us, you are replacing the door in a glass panel. After a year+ of use: ✨ The individual door panels seem perfectly fine. ✨ The white weather seals used for the top and bottom of the door, as well as for the sides of the frame seem to be in good condition. ...But the black rubber I-beams used to connect each panel have dry-rotted and failed, which is why we have duct tape holding the panels together. 💡Dear Ideal Pet Products: I suppose you could simply make the door one solid panel - it really does not need to flex - but I would be very happy if you would offer a replacement kit for the seals and connectors. 💡There is an opportunity here for aftermarket replacement products. At the time of this writing, someone is offering a replacement 3-piece door panel. We ordered it because we needed the I-beam connectors, not b/c we needed the panel sections. BOTTOM LINE: We love the door. The pivot design is brilliant, BUT we need replacement parts. Now that we have new I-beams (thanks to the aftermarket replacement door we got), I might apply black silicone caulking over the I-beams to protect them from dry rot... As stated above, the door does not need to flex, so I am not concerned that filling the gaps between each panel with silicone will reduce or eliminate flexion. 👍 Take that into consideration if you decide to purchase this door. ...I don't want to lose this brilliant pivoting door design because the rubber elements fail over time, as rubber parts do.

Awesome Doggie Door
This was an up grade from the previous smaller version I had. I love it. I was installed through my wall instead of a door but work perfectly one just needs to do some more trim work. I upgraded due to getting a second dog. First one had for 10 years. Awesomeness Chris

Great doggy door
I'm on my second doggy door. The first one held up well for years and now we have a layer dog that barely fit through the small door and eventually messed it up. Bought a larger door and my dogs love it.

It’s a good doggo door
This door was already installed in the house I bought years ago. Over time of my dogs running full sprint slamming their face into the flap daily, like intelligent dogs would, (one is 50lbs and other is 30lbs dog) the flap would obviously wear over time. I’ve replaced the flap itself about once a year 1/2 as the rubber seals would tear slowly. Now after 4 years the frame of the door itself has cracked and deteriorated that it needed to be replaced. I live in the dry desert and it keeps the heat and flies out, it works as should, and it may not be invincible, but it lasts a long period of time. Hope my pic helps showing what about 4 years of age and wear looks like compared to brand new. Will continue to buy and replace as needed. PS: the door shield to lock dogs in or out can be busted in if your dogs are intelligent enough to run at the door at ramming speed, see pic and you’ll notice one of the tabs is busted off. So just be aware of that if you have larger smarter dogs than I.

Great dog door!
Well built product. Good size for my tall and lanky kelpie x dingo (60cm @ shoulder, 28kg). A few extra holes drilled out of the slide lock panel and some white capped screws into the door means I can store the slide lock directly above the dog door, and pop it in and out as needed. Does a great job at sealing against drafts. A little louder and heavier than regular dog door flaps, but once the dog can get over the initial sound and sensation it works great.

Great draught proof dog and cat flap
Been put in for 2 weeks now and so far we are really pleased. Our staffie and cat can use it. The cat took a little while to learn to push a bit more to open it but now has it sussed. We suffered badly from draughts before but this one seems to block them all. Very pleased with our purchase

Really good product, optimal for well insulated and sealed homes
It's very good! We have a very well sealed house with HVAC and this door really does the trick of maintaining a way to our dog to co in and out without sacrifices on heating or ventilation. Is a fantastic product
